There's a big list of people that can draw a good Wolverine, but Art Adams' Wolverine is just flawless, every single time.
And timeless.
And timeless.
My top 3 Wolverine Artists Art Adams Marc Silvestri and Jim Lee
John Byrne
Seeing his work as a teenager was mind blowing... I couldn't get enough--glad to see his still doing his thing. One of the GOATS
That’s just absolutely stunning. He’s a nice guy at cons, too. 😊
My favorite artist. Loved his new fantastic four art!!!
It's like every stroke of pencil or brush is super well thought. Just love seeing his process
I love these convention vids. Keeps me inspired in my own original work
Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to try to gather many more this summer.
@@VZAAGE AWESOME!!! I've been drawing and painting for decades now and I always learn great tips, techniques, & processes from your page. You guys are really essential for the craft and thank u for inspiring me start drawing my original comic
@Dimitri-si8fj right on! That was my intention when first starting this channel so I'm certainly glad to see that my hard work has paid off.
Art Adams was my first Wolverine 😌
AWESOME!!! I love this Wolverine style of Arthur Adams since when he started drawing the X-MEN. He's the best on it!
Reading thru comments… the love is incredible. His work on X-men the Asgardian War, is a highlight of peak 1980$ comics..
I had him sign X-Men Classic #1. First comic I ever bought at a con. Dude is the GOAT.
Great drawing
Great seeing the process! The way Art Adams draws isn't what I expected... it's much more regimented and controlled than I'd imagined.
Best artist of all time!!
Quick digression.
I ran into Walt Simonson at a comic con as he walked into the bathroom and we ended up talking. I ended up drawing in a hotel room for hours with Walt, Howard Chaykin and Art Adams. Best night of my life.
So enthralling watching a master at work.
Masterful piece by a genuine maestro. The last minute or so when it all comes together was ridiculously brilliant.
Thanks for the upload! I wish he did some monster to showcase his texturing ability, but this is awesome nonetheless!
I'll try to get some footage of Arthur at a future show. Hopefully, he happens to be drawing exactly what you're asking for. That would be awesome!
@@VZAAGE Rest assured your channel will remain an awesome comic art goldmine even if you don''t! You're an excellent curator of the art form! :)
His art is amazing!
❤🖖
just draw the Wolverine from the X-Men poster hanging off my wall my entire childhood why don't-cha
He said in an interview once he made like 20k in royalties for that drawing. 😮
Legend!
Magic!
Brilliant !
Awesome!
His Classic X-Men cover art are great of collectibles
Arthur's line quality is beautiful
Great Wolvie!!
Interesting to see how he jumps around after starting inking an area, not finishing a bit he’s started before moving to another. I can relate to that 😂
It's not jumping around. He's matching up particular small sections/parts. Great precision.
Nice 🔥 !
Genial 👍👍👍
Take off the wings and draw pointy ears and ya got Batman!!!!!
Did he say this was $500?
Heard that too, joking perhaps,i don't think that piece is worth 500
Definitely not
Art charges $500 for a 30 min (roughly) sketch $250 for a quicker 15 min doodle
I didn’t really think so either. That’s why I was wondering if I heard that right. It’s very good, but…
Yes, it cost $500. That's his convention rate for a drawing at this level.
Kinda salty we didnt get to see him do the splatter lol great piece though. Anyone know the tools he wa using? Would love to know what ink brush that was
( I'm guessing)A Blue "colored pencil" for rough draft
( I'm guessing)A Normal pencil for tightening up details
100% certain he used Sakura - Pigma Micron pen for inking(tan colored pens he was holding)
100% certain he used Sakura Pigma Professional Brush Pen (black pen he used for the big coverage inking)
nice
Links in the description are for Stephen Segovia-- not Art Adams.
Thanks for the heads up. On my way to fix it.
One of the top 5 most influential artist in comics history. He’s so good.
Top 5? That's a ridiculous statement. Adams is a brilliant artist but definitely not top 5 in history.
@Brian_Boru he was literally the biggest influence on all the 90s guys, image wouldn't exist without him.
$500... worth every penny... 20 minute job master at work.
First view
Super❤❤❤
That's awesome! Thanks for tuning in.
He’s a master, but boy is he meticulous!!
Wow- $500….!
Still looks like 2 Batmans kissing
lol... now I can't unsee it.
The best artist of Marvel Comics have past away...I luv the fact that they called Stan Lee THE FRAUD, These artist should have spoke more about who Stan Lee really was when they were alive.
Normally I don't mind the splatter, but it doesn't look good here. It looks like he accidentally spilled ink on it. It would probably look good if it was red ink or if he combined the two!
$500 ...cheap!
the piece is very clean but it has no personality.
