I think it is the leaftover dmg from the fight. If i remember you heal for a part of the leftover bloodlust or something akin to it when you kill a camp
@panternwolf5028 no, the left over dmg instantly heals instead of over time. It was red buff that was healing. You have 0 base/innate health regen, but that doesn't mean you can't get passive health regen at all

This is definitely one of those manaless champions that i 100% agree SHOULD be manaless. Your abilities already cost %HP and her whole thing is that she has to be IN COMBAT to regenerate health at all. If she needed mana she would feel miserable to play
Her hp is a ressource but unlike mundo who just lose a bit of hp, her hp is a ressource bdcause you are going to make use of all of it diring combat and i like it
But I think she has too much healing. Like 75% build in basically with just her abilities and passive. With just a couple items that heal, she is unkillable

Ashe + Briar bot lane. Perma slow + chase down. Global arrow + Briar ult combo. Briar has a nice targeted leap stun + wall knock back stun. Actually pretty good utility… + an aoe fear… I could see a Evenshroud being useable with the multiple forms of cc? Can’t wait to see you give it a few tries as support and see how it goes

i don't know if it'll be a permanent addition or if they'll just cycle through extra game modes more often, but either way it's a huge W and something that's been sorely needed for a while. there were so many long stretches of nothing
Two things about the healing that you weren't sure about: 1) I think Red Buff was healing you, I think it still gives you health regen despite Briar not having it innately. 2) Your bleed passive heals you, and even if your target dies, you still heal for the entire remaining amount of bleed that your passive *would* have done if the target was still alive. That way you don't get punished for bursting your target too fast, since your healing isn't traditional on-hit lifesteal, but a sort of bleed-drain instead.
I'm so glad my hype for her since the start was worth it. I must admit though, i doubt she will be "broken". Sure the ult is crazy but it is a skillshot, w makes you self taunt and potentially die if you lost your cooldown, E takes quite some time to max charge and so on. I can't wait for her release, I'll start jungling because of her.
I firmly believe this champion will have a 30% WR on release. People will self taunt themselves under tower and since she can't orb walk/attack move while frenzied and has little CC and no bonus MS without R, people will simply walk away from her
Idk if you already recorded it or if you will see it in time for it, but as Briar support I think the best combo might be W > Q > E towards teammate, or W > Q > E away from you so you can get out. I was also thinking Q > W dash behind objective > E towards teammate, since it might make it easier to land E, but I'm unsure if you can dash through champions or impact on them since I haven't seen it neither tried her in PBE
Those super long ults are just crazy. You zoomed so fast even yumi was lagged in catching up to you. It was crazy funny too. Near the end when you commented about please stop you happened to be focused onto the emilio - briar must have a thing for him :)
would love to see some Briar support, but I think it will be it's weakest lane, because you have 0 sustain from health regen, and as a support you can't hit the minions(or jungle camps) as much as the others, so.
Glacial briar support could be a thing Q->glacial->E E deals tons of damage and glacial could help you to hit enemies into the wall to deal even more damage Full runes Glacial Boots could be good to catchup enemies in frenzy (but you also have your R to catch them so its up to you what will you choose) Futures market Cosmic insight/approach velocity In secondaries you could tske Transcendce (cooldowns) or absolute focus (damage) And gathering storm (big damage) As for items I'm not really sure, I would need to test her but as a raw build I would go for classic heartsteel+embrace You get deffensive stats (for enganges) and flat ap wich you need for E dmg, what about your Q or W or autos dmg? Well first of all dont worry you are support, as of second -you get free stats on your W and your R (+like I said you won't be fighting alone as much since you are support and you will be going around with somebody)
Every new champion is balance I remember when sett first com out he was playing mid 1 vs 3 and we loosing and he so tank + a lot dmg no one can fight him 1 vs 1 that was nightmare

Actually you played with one of the most OP composition. Imagine travel all accross the map, with yuumi attached with her ult + yours. Then have "Axiom Arc"' in your build, to travel again. Damn look so silly but fun at the same time. I can already feel the fear in ranked, Briar will be either 1v9 for your team or full feeding haha.
100% you have to play this support man. Said it on your ability run down vid and I'll say it again, she had a kit i think you can make work. Point and click stun with armour reduction, knock back with slow, potential stun if it collides with a wall, AoE fear. She can engage, she can peel, she can roam. Lets see it! Also wouldnt mind you playing her as a duo with Heiz on Anivia for the wall 👌🏼
I had a game where I berserked, killed a low hp champ near a turret, then attacked minions near the turret, killed them, then chased more minions under the turret and went into turret range, then took 3 turret shots and died lmao. All without any control of my character.
It was quite painful to watch when Ioki didn't recast his W for Heal at all, How did that happened when you was reading skills to Us and presenting her on Video before. But still it was Fun to watch

Have a stat boost AND just have the game play itself for you with this ability how about that?" It’s un-engaging and boring gameplay.
I wish they made Briar a creepy grandma tbh, i don't really like the naive "adult" characters and tbh Briar's design doesn't make sense to me like she literally doesn't look like she's hungry or tortured and they really did make her bottom heavy. In her splash she has a very youthful look and I'm here like "For someone who's supposedly been tortured for years Sis has a healthier build than Jinx and better skin care than Renata" I just think it would've been much cooler if they either leaned into a creepy horror themed grandma with long thinning white hair and a tall and lanky body type with pale sickly skin, but I really do like her frenzied form and when she's being creepy I just think they leaned into the generic kaisa route where she's just well groomed for no reason (going by lore)

Your bloodlust also gives you bonus stats i think
