I just like Ymir because the Japanese voice actress for Ymir is Hatsune Miku. She did the original voice recordings for Hatsune Miku 16 years ago.
You can not like Miku but she's pretty famous :) It's an accomplishment to be her voice.
They showed so much foreshadowing and answers is crazy.😂

Ymir's name is a lie. It was built to satisfy the cult. Ymir's name is not her true name, if you know what i'm saying. And she was turned into a titan by the people who arrested them, because it was, for some reasons, forbiden to worship Ymir. Basically, Ymir had never something special. She was a victim who was turned into a titan as punishment for using the name of Ymir. And like she said, she was stuck in a nightmare, for sixty years. But something happened and she reverted back into a human, but with the power to turn into a titan and control it. Before, she was a stupid titan.

@@jasmine9581 the punishment, the short life ahead of Reiner and Barthold, and that scene of her waking up under THAT starry night in the desert… wow, something that run unnoticed the first time.

(Agreed, though I always thought Ymir's backstory was very openly laid out and clear ; like it's just chronological -- so I always get confused when people don't get it here. I'll put a break for people watching alongside the videos and not finished

->> TL,DR; For a first time watcher, the episode at minimum lays out that:
Ymir, Bertholdt, Reiner, and *Eren* have all eaten someone and don't remember it specifically.
The punishment on the wall was turning them into titans with an injection (bc of the sound).
She was a titan for years, and _immediately_ after eating Marcel she woke up (in the Paths, but I thought it was just pretty desert), returned to human. So eating Marcel made her turn back.
The Marcel flashback is shown 3x to show that she has blunt teeth, but we _know_ they're sharp as hell from 1x5, so she got the sharpness from Marcel.
I got those at the, though I didn't register when she said "after I'm eaten by one of your warriors?!"
oof I rambled too much; super TL,DR; I always thought it was clear what happened concerning Eren eating someone, how people are turned into titans, and how Ymir turned back

And dude, what are your complaints about free products? Most of the free stuff works better. For example, quite a few games run with Torrent and work better than with steam, and pirates already have voice acting. No need to suffer with the installation of voice acting in Steam. On pirate TV sites, I can choose the voiceover from 5-15 studios, which one I like best. While licensed: Subtitles, Dubbing, Original. Anyway, 90% of the companies don't want my money. Why does entertainment content get into politics?

So how there is a future for historia there but no future for her inside the walls ?
Cuz for them , humanity inside the Paradis island would be killed and wiped out eventually, but atleast by keeping her identity secret, like dina did, historia would have survived in a vast outside world in any ways...as long as she lived...like dina did.
