Honest question, why call yourself vegan when you still consume animal products in other ways? Like your YSL handbag... I think it would be more appropriate to call yourself plant-based until you decide to truly go vegan. Anyways, just a suggestion. Paris looks amazing!
I’ve always said ‘I eat a vegan diet’ rather than ‘I am vegan’ because I’m aware there are still leather items in my wardrobe. However, it’s my opinion that comments like this around ‘veganism’ are unhelpful gatekeeping, to me what matters is a persons intentions & what they ARE doing to help the cause, rather than trying to trip them up or catch them out on the language someone chooses to use. Just where I stand on it :)
@@HannahAdkins That's a fair point. It's not my intention to be hyper-critical and tone is lost when talking through a screen. I just feel like the word vegan is thrown around in such a trendy way when it's just as simple to say plant based. Because IMO veganism is about animal rights and the diet is just a byproduct of that. But it isn't a diet on it's own, does that make sense? I'm just genuinely curious about others take on this. I appreciate your response! :)

Well it doesn't look beautiful everywhere in Paris. Where you were was beautiful but you were in the rich, touristic places. And even there, there are some places looking and smelling awful 😅 But mist of the places in Paris don't like the usual postcard or this video...
