We made it to the State of New York

This week saw us head further into Maine, in search of the Atlantic Puffins!! We had a magic day out on the water with Tricia & Steve from Acadia Puffin Cruise. I honestly can't recommend them enough. They are very passionate about their tours out to Petit Manan Island to view the Puffins, Egg Rock to spot Seals, and all the abundant birdlife in the area. After our morning on the Sea, we started to make our way West, through New Hampshire, Vermont -where we visited, stayed & sampled Maple Syrup for the 1st time at Mom & Pops World's Best Vermont Maple Syrup, Farm. Then we drove onto Upstate New York with the idea of cycling the Empire State Trail along the Erie Canalway Trail. We are absolutely loving the area, with so many amazing State Parks and so many cycle ways...we could be here a while!! And who knew??? If you retain your NY State Park Ticket/Receipt when entering your 1st NY State Park for the day, you can re-enter any New York State Park on the same day without paying another Park fee 👌
