Spinel is so dangerous because of how she moves. Her attacks can come from unexpected angles, and hit much harder than her physique suggests would be possible. Add in how she can dodge with such fluidity and it's tough to land a hit. You'd need to use attacks with some area of effect, or just overwhelm her. Though, getting a grip on her and negating her dodging ability would make her an easy target. A rubberhose glass cannon. But, man, her story is, until a certain point, so painful and tragic. I'm glad they redeemed her.
