A.I tries to Generate an Ace Attorney case. Chaos ensues

- This Ace Attorney A.I. video is finally finished.
This was created using much the same method as last time through A.I. Dungeon, then editing it together in objection.lol. if you're curious about that process. Or how i get the ai, to at least stay "somewhat" on track. Go check the pinned comment on my last video.
in this video however, I discovered my new favorite feature of it. AI Dungeon has a "randomness" slider in its settings. and for this, the farther into the case i got, i would turn the randomness slider up just bit by bit until the A.I went absolutely bonkers.
which i personally found hilarious, which is why i chose this case when deciding to make another video.
This video was an absolute nightmare to edit. on average it would take a little over an hour in objection.lol per minute of video. Hence why i procrastinated to just sit down and finish it for several months. apologies.
21 hours is a lot of time to take for something like this to be put together. probably way more than it should take, but objection.lol isn't the most optimized of systems. and i'm not the best at using it. so please enjoy.

It wasn’t originally there, I noticed last minute while I was in the middle of uploading that I accidentally removed an r, when I removed one of the sound effects that was too long from that slide of Godot’s dialogue box.)

I was sleep deprived and had already worked on it for 4 hours at that point, so I didn’t catch it.
plus, after you add all the timings, sound effects and pauses in objection.lol, the text is about as comprehensible as Minecraft Enchantment Table until you play it in video form. So marking one letter too much when removing a pause, or a sound effect code is pretty easy - Hry

I like how Phoenix got confused by Gant now being an ichthyologist after he was fired from being a model (and a waiter?) And got corrected. But when Jake says he got into construction when Gant said he was a pilot in space, Phoenix doesn't even question or acknowledge it.

Godot going progressively angrier and nuttier in the second half is just peak comedy, I haven't laughed so hard in a while. If AI really wrote all his lines, it deserves a fucking Turing award

Please make more of these!!! There’s no way to note all of the hilarious things I loved about this “case”, but here’s a couple! Jake changed occupation four times and Gant changed occupation three times. I’m pretty sure what Godot said about ichthyology was a reference to the concept of fish stories. I was just impressed the AI knew that ichthyologists existed. Godot stayed frighteningly coherent at the end even while describing in detail the horrors that awaited Gant in the shadow realm and actively threatening both Phoenix and the judge.

Yeah I could have gone put of my way to get rid of that, but I usually don’t. I was hella sleep deprived am had already edited for hours at that point, so I figured the time it would take just to manually set the speech blip and talking animation to off on all those frames would be better spent adding small details to other stuff instead

Godot is well aware of the potential disaster that can bring the shadow magic into a murder case. He literally stopped Atmey of unleashing the wrath of Kyros, the Lord of the Shadows. The courtroom needs more men like this.

I randomly got recommended your two AA AI dungeon vids last week after watching a CZcamsr play through AA3 and I starged watching a bunch of ai dungeon AA vids cause this one was so funny. I have to say, I was spoiled; yours are by far the best. The custom tweaking and more powerful mode really made all the difference.
It's a shame, too, cause they're both criminally under viewed, yet something like "ai creates a court case about big titties" or whatever has 100k views and is boring as hell. Hope you eventually make more but completely understand why you won't or can't.

I do plan to eventually make more, but the editing part takes a lot of time.
In reality, i ‘could’ do it in a couple hours if i just copy and pasted all the dialogue the ai generated in one of the cases into objection.lol, but I really like to mess around with the timing of dialogue and the animations of the sprites and stuff, and that’s the part that takes A LOT more time. It gets very tedious at times, but I personally feel that the end result is worth it. But it can take several hours or even an entire day to get just a minute and a half’s worth of dialogue done that way, since I don’t really work that fast, and i change my mind on a lot of details along the say.
But i do genuinely enjoy putting it together, because generating stuff in A.I. dungeon is one of my favorite things to do for fun.
And objection.lol is one of the only tools that can let you visually recreate these ridiculously ludicrous scenes that the A.I. generates the way you might imagine them looking in your head.
I mostly made these last two for that reason. Because I thought it would be really nice to put some of the most fun I’ve had with A.I. dungeon into a visual form that i can look at and laugh at later.
So I really do want to make more, but it just takes so very long to make, and once i start, i have a very hard time putting it down to take care of other responsibilities. So I would have to find a good stretch of time I could do it without the time investment affecting real life stuff.

The extra work you put into it is assuredly another reason why it as so funny. The comedic timing of dialogue and animations can make or break certain things so I totally get why you'd want to make it perfect. It makes sense that the quality and lack of a new video (despite you still seeminly being active) probably had to do with the time it took to meticulously refine things after reading how you got AI dungeon to work so well for you,. I'm also glad it seems you aren't discouraged

I love how Jake and Godot started of pretty calm and both just started spiraling downwards into this explosive frustration at everything and everyone. Glad you liked it. I have another one i used the exact same method for that’s been basically done for months now, but I haven’t had the time sit down and finish editing together yet.
Maybe it’ll be up soon tho, because it seems like people would actually be interested in it.
I also agree that there isn’t enough of these funny AI ace attorney videos aren’t as there should be. So i wish more people also made this kinda stuff because when its done well it’s some of the funniest stuff I’ve seen on youtube.
So if/when i finally upload that next video, i’ll also be linking an in-depth video I’ve been recording alongside it, that shows the different stages of making the video. Which will show what I used, how it was done, which settings were used and whatnot.
Because I’d just really love to be able to see more people make this kind of thing, since it always gets a laugh out of me when it’s done well.
But, to be honest, I’m just not that sure if anyone will find that kind of explanation-type-video interesting, especially since I have no experience really making something like that before.
so that video will probably not be public. Especially since I don’t want to clog people’s recommended sections, or subscriber tab with a video that isn’t made for entertainment.
But I’ll have it listed in the description of the next video so that anyone who might WANT to do something similar, but doesn’t know any ways to do it can easily find the means to.

That would be extremely challenging because when it comes to the sprites, i have to manually set their animations and timing on the lines. The ai is responsible for writing all the dialogue and deciding what the characters do. And my job is to manually translate that into a watchable video form.
So I’d have to get a hold of some kind of program that would not only let my viewers input dialoge, but also input commands for animations, pauses and music.
But it sounds like a really cool idea, so I’ll definitely take a look into it.
But there is also the issue that my channel has kind of died entirely. So even if i do figure out a way to make it work, there wouldn’t be anybody who would be there to use it. I get less than 30 views on the entire channel in a day, which would likely translate to maybe 1, possibly 2 viewers on a livestream.
I could maybe let viewers play just as just one of the characters. For example, the viewers might write for Phoenix’s dialogue for example. And then the AI would play all the other characters. Then so many people wouldn’t be needed.
But i still think it would have to be atleast 10 people though, which… I don’t have that many viewers anymore
