- Thanks to some truly great people on the internet, it is now possible to distribute a completely legit aurora ticket to Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green to catch Deoxys on Birth Island.

Nice, that seems like a pretty decent way of getting one as legit as possible. Another way is to use an event cart for DS (The winter 2011 Celebi event) to receive one in just about the most legit way (if you didn't want to spend $200-1k for a Celebi, you can always run an event cart ROM on a GBA rom cart. That way it's identical to the event Celebi except for the date that you received the Celebi. A 100% Legit one's summary will say received in a fateful encounter on Nov/Dec 2011 but with a ROM it will say the current date). I got my Mystry mew @ the 2006 Toys 'R Us promo event for "Lucario and mysterious mew" which was a movie coming out at the time. I feel so blessed to still have it.

Just realized this Celebi trick (Event ROM) will only work for DS games not Gen 3 unfortunately. only ways on Gen 3 are legit bonus disk, or ROM of bonus disk, or Get a trade from someone who had a bonus disk, or Hack one in using Cryst, Gold, or Silver and then transfer it through pokemon colosseum 2 to a Gen 3 game. believe it or not that last one is possible...
Darkrai Gamer, it was a very similar situation for me and my brother. We missed all the Gen III events back in the day and the thought never left us (although it was arguably what pushed us to get all the events for the succeeding generations). We were simply too young to do the research and find out during the time, and we lived (and still live) in a state where the events did not come. In July of 2017, we were reading about distribution carts on a whim and stumbled upon this one, and days later we did this distribution. I really like seeing how enthusiastic you are in this video, because that's exactly how we were. It's such an amazing feeling to finally do what we missed all those years ago, and it's even better to see that others share said feeling.

Absolutely! The feeling of satisfaction that comes after completing something that one has long wished for is almost unmatched. In our case, being older gave us the advantage in knowing how to shiny hunt, so we did indeed SR for shiny Deoxys in LeafGreen (took 13130 SRs but we got it)! It's truly amazing, what all we can do when we hold on to these desires for so long.
I can relive my childhood once more. Hopefully the distribution cart for Navel Rock will show up one day...
You can still get the Lugia and Ho-oh by trading them from xD and Colosseum, not the same but you get them at least
You can get them on emerald from a dude off eBay. But it’s like 130$. Just look up emerald pokedit.
While the distribution cart itself isn't available, Digiex and Project Pokémon do have a downloadable Mystery Gift tool that has the Wonder Cards for the Gen III games, all replicated from the real things (as well as an Old Sea Map one). The closest to a distribution cart is to put a shareable Wonder Card onto a different save file on a flash cart, and then distribute it to your game(s) on your real file(s). I remember people like Deoxyz (the guy who purchased the Aurora Ticket ROM) saying this was the closest we'd get to the distribution cart.
This is phenomenal. I, like you, got into pokemon too late to take part in the gba events and I felt extremely left out. So cool that there's a way to legitimately experience these events all these years later

I was a Pokemon Rocks America attendee in Seattle for FRLG. I remember the Pikachu bug car, and I even took a picture with a Mudkip mascot! I convinced a friend from school to let me bring his copy of Leafgreen with me so I could get him the event too.
I'm so happy this is now available for everyone to experience! It's a great event.
I’m planning on resetting my old Firered file of almost 15 years and while it sucks that I didn’t have the means to do this even back then, it’s awesome that there are ways to recreate events like these.

This is really rad. Deoxys used to be my favorite pokemon as a kid, but I didn't even get one until very late into Gen 5's lifespan. I remember finding a video on youtube of someone fighting one in Emerald and it was so interesting, and it actually scared me for whatever reason. It's cry combined with the music and odd sprite definitely creeped me out. It's nice that I can finally have one in the second Pokemon game I ever owned. I was like you, I got the game 3-4 years after it had came out so I missed all of the events and the like.
People like you are why I made the video. I want everyone to be able to experience old pokemon events that they missed out on just because they didn't play during a certain time. Enjoy!

This is really amazing, having finally the possibility of getting a legit Deoxys in game, it a shame that as many other people, we couldn't experience these distributions in the past, but now is a reality. Love that I found this. Last year I got a backlit modded original GBA for a decent price on eBay & it came with Firered. I didn't do much with the game til recently feeling nostalgic over Gen 1 with Let's Go Pikachu / Eevee and was debating getting a GameShark to get the event items. But this is so much cooler. 🙂

I have a legitimate Lugia and Ho-oh from colosseum and xd, but id love to be able to go to navel rock in the near future! F am There is one to get a MYSTRY Mew traded into your game, but none for the Faraway Island Mew. The Old Sea Map was never released in the US so the AURA and MYSTERY Mews are the only legitimate event ones.
@@Drake31217 You can purchase a Japanese Emerald cartridge and use an event rom/cart (Japanese) to obtain the map. Then you can mix records with an English / European version thereby getting the Old Sea Map legitimately. This is the best (and only) way to get the region exclusives. Another example could be the Regi Dolls. Japanese Cart, E-Reader, and "Decoration Present" Pokemon Battle e Promotional Card. Scan it in, mix records, and obtain the dolls. I'm in the process of 100%'ing Emerald/GenIII through legit means. I currently have the Eon Ticket e Card which I used to get to Southern Island but I'm missing pretty much everything else.

I think you can get it from the pomeg berry glitch. It's not completely legit, but better than using a save modifier.

I started playing Pokemon Fire Red (as my first game ever) during the release of Platinum and I too feel left out on the events. I was technically a baby when they happened so I obviously couldn't experience them but now I can thanks to the awesome people on the internet!

So, I just got leafgreen and brought 2 wireless adapters (ik you just need one of the two games but having both is pretty cool). After I get the adapters I just going to wait for my next paycheck and finally buy the ez flash and then start setup :D

I think Gen 3 was the last gen that anyone actually wanted to legitimately complete the Pokedex. In my Leaf Green I completed all of Kanto and Hoenn and almost Johto, the only exceptions being the event Pokemon and the Latios/Latias (even the Repel trick decided not to work, I guess RNGesus doesn't like me very much).
Honestly,i'm more iterested in completing it on gen 4 tather than 3
I've been completed them throughout gen 4-6, on my way to 7...
Right now i am re-playing emerald and fire red to somehow completed them cause gen 3 was quite tedious one

It's nice that we found the distribution ROM. However, I'm wondering what happened to the wonder spot kiosks they had setup to get the Aurora Ticket and Mystic Ticket. Hopefully someone finds that kiosk and demonstrates how it worked
This actually works on any EU version. I did the entire process using my german firered. Works perfectly. The only "issue" is that the wondercard will always be english. Everything else works just like in your video.

You can buy an r4 card, then download a pokemon distribution maker rom and make the event or/ if it was released download the event rom and put in the r4, then work your way from there.
That's what I did for the azure flute and lock capsule, I made a bunch of custom distribution roms. I even made one for the shiny jirachi given out with Pokemon Colosseum. If you want, I can give a download link for them
i hope the mystic ticket and the old sea chart distribution carts are found and dumped.
THE OFFICIAL Meloetta Channel The GBA is not region locked. Plus there's nothing preventing the Old Sea Map to be transfered to Non-Japanese versions.

@@swordcrafted you cant get an old sea map using distribution carts but can use an emulator and gameshark codes to warp to get a mew.
@@swordcrafted Actually, I decided I didn't want to warp to get new so instead, I hacked the item into the game and did the event in the most legitimate way possible. Turns out, all the text is fully translated and is fully functional in international releases of Pokemon Emerald.

Saves me a stupid amount of money trying to source a GBA gameshark. Will try to source wireless adapters now!
I remember getting the aurora ticket by taking the rom and the save out of the cartridge with a tool for NDS R4. Took it to my pc, placed the ticket with GameShark, put the save back into the cartridge and voila. Completed the pokedex almost legitimately. Then I transferred deoxys to Pokémon platinum. I was planning to sell the Pokémon but my DS got stolen alongside my R4.

I remember I dump my early Heart Gold Japanese cartridge and did some hex editing to get pal park to work with english gen 3 games. Maybe I can swap out the leaf green cartridge id with emerald to make a pseudo distribution cartridge.
I bought a Leaf Green game a few months ago, but only started playing it a couple of days ago due to playing other Pokemon games, and the save file has both the Aurora ticket and the Mystic ticket. I'm gonna catch them and trade them to Ruby before I start a new game.

It would be nice if the event for the eon ticket and naval rock were available via the same way.
It always irked me that I was never able to catch these mythical Pokemon. I would spend hours searching up and down for them in FireRed and Emerald copies as a kid thinking they were in the game.
Then I discovered CZcams existed and proceeded to look for any way to catch them, but no luck...

I think this is really cool and all, being able to experience getting the ticket from the mystery gift guy and then going and doing it almost completely legitimately. But I don't really wanna throw down over 200 bucks to get 2 gbas, another wireless adapter and all that other stuff when I can get infinite deoxys' for free in sacrifice of "fun". Even though I still think it's fun doing it with a gameshark. And you still gotta put in the work to make codes too.
Kuzan Soul-Eater Dragneel It shouldn't cost you 200 dollars. The Gameboys were like 25 a piece (and I already owned one), the EZ Flash is 30 and the Micro SD was maybe 10.

Fans have reconstructed distribution roms for Mystic Ticket, Altering Cave and 6 different "Wish Eggs" for FireRed and LeafGreen. They also made distribution roms for Mystic Ticket, Aurora Ticket, Altering Cave, 6 Wish Eggs and OLD SEA MAP FOR EMERALD!

This is fantastic as Australia never had any events in generation 3 unless you count the Jirachi from Pokemon Channel which was insanely high priced back then considering the content. I tried using hacks in Gen 4 but it ruined the experience for me but this is a Godsend, are there any other legitimate events you can obtain using this method for the other generations such as the Enigma Stone in HGSS or the Pichu for the Celebi event?
I pray one day this will be possible with other events and on Pokémon emerald

Cool! So with one of those you can technically get the missing Lati, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh and Deoxys in Pokemon Emerald if you can get the event Roms? Could this work even with Jirachi and Celebi and technically fill the national Pokedex without Gamesharks or glitches?
Francisco Goñi Durán as for emerald, an Aurora ticket event rom may not even exist (but obviously you can get it in FR/LG). Getting jirachi and celebi is impossible without cheating unless you use a GameCube (or if you have the first Wii with gamecube ports which mine unfortunately doesn't have) or modifying the 10 anniversary event rom to distribute it since there were no English events for them. Currently, we can get aura mew and 10 anniversary hooh and Lugia, but nobody has released the rims for the old sea map and navel rock yet.

Can it also load the Old Sea Map for catching Mew in Emerald version? Likewise with the Rainbow Ticket to get to Navel Rock to catch Lugia/Ho-Oh on FireRed, LeafGreen & Emerald versions? I've found out a similar way before but it's for Generation 4 & 5 games, where the flashcart acts as the wireless distributor while the other system receives the Event items/Pokemon.
I can’t believe it! I did make it with my GBA!!! I got those Pokémon from event. I glad that having my whole official Pokemon games! Those games can to migrate my Pokémon ds Diamond Pearl HeartGold and SoulSilver! I didn’t sell or threw away it.

Were there any distributions for Celebi and Jirachi for English games? I know how to glitzer pop, but those are the only exceptions to completing the dex legit and the GameCube discs are absurdly priced.

OhhChezy Navel Rock’s ROM I think was found. The Old Sea Map was Japan only, but is easily injectable into a save.

The Mystery Gift Tool is as legitimate as you can get without the actual ROMs. I know the same Digiex users who dumped the Aurora Ticket ROM have recommended using this (I believe Project Pokémon users created it, and the Digiex people were involved -- something like that). It has the tickets replicated from the original events. You can inject them directly into your game, or if you'd rather distribute them to your own copy, I'd recommend injecting them into a different file on a flash cart and using the tickets that can be shared with others. All of the legitimately distributed tickets for event locations are there, and there should also be an Old Sea Map. Note that there are different version of the tool w/ various updates.
I can actually hack them into the game, the Data is on the Rom. So, as long as the item is functional in the game it should work, in theory.
