There was an old lady sitting in the concert hall next to me during Jamala's perfomance and she couldn't stop crying. The atmoshere and the energy Jamala shares with the audience is incredible!

Last year I didnt get why she won but now I'm in love with this song
The song isn't for everyone but the melody of the song is very different and magical and the staging was awesome with the tree It also proved to be a huge difference in her winning last year too. Her vocals were on point too and that high note in the middle of the song was insane and had a huge impact on the song too. Deserving winner in my opinion.

I kinda dont like the instrumental in this version, its not bad, but i miss that cultural taste the original have. Her vocals are better here, she was more secure, flawless and control every single note. Stage was great. One thing i like about this song and some people complain, its her "screaming parts" in jamala case, is not to show "i have a good voice" instead its a part of song, it is to remind us the screams in pain, that people did, while their families were killed.
This song got such bad critiques by commentators in my country... I barely heard it on the radio too after the win. That really bothered me because that song is out of this world. It hits you on a spiritual level. Watching and listening just now made me cry again. I'm glad that I'm able to appreciate this remarkable song and this remarkable artist. Because I loved that other song she did this year as well. Much love from Belgium
