Hey looks yummy i usually make exactly like this but replace it with biscuits i dont use a syrup or juice insted add sugar into the cream,
I usually take Amul cream which becomes soft after mixing, i hv a question
1) question which cream hv you taken ?
2) is it home made fresh orange juice ?
3) how should i make a syrup?

Hi. How do you prepare your jelly? It looks so beautiful. Mine always gets hard at the bottom. Do you perhaps know what I'm doing wrong? I use the instructions.
I pour the jelly power in a bowl.
1 cup boiling water, stir till it dissolve.
1 cup chilled water, stir and refrigerate, and always has a funny hard bottom layer 😢
Please help as I'm dying to try this recipe.

It's called trifle, not trifle pudding. Traditional dessert of the UK. This is not trifle, it follows a simpler process and looks nice but it's not the same thing.

@Sulaikha P sponge cake on the bottom, wet with sherry , and the mixed fruit. Pour the jelly in it liquid form , it should cover the fruit . Let it set in the fridge, and the custard in its liquid form . Let it set . And the wipped cream , then either spinkle with flaked chocolate or cocoa powder. As I said there is not much difference, It is very popular here often served after the Sunday roast dinner .
