We will be going over EVERY SINGLE Weapon In Escape From Tarkov and ranking them on a Tier List to see what the BEST WEAPONS are to use in the 14.0 Wipe. In this video we discuss some major flaws with old meta weapons, what weapons are creeping into the meta, and what I personally, recommend you use and why you should be using it in EFT. Sig mcx it’s so quiet I mix its ammo between ap and raw health damage, and go for concealment with the full ghillie on bear. shame there’s snow though kind of a hindrance
For me its the ak12 you can mag dump at a good range with the higher pen higher recoil ammo like bs bp

One thing that might to add as a note on the video is the letters on the AKs all mean the same thing;
M = Modernized
N = Night Fighting (side rail for night vision scope/and later all side rail compatible optics
S = foldable
U = shortened
B = Silent
These can be combined to make the confusing mess that we see as AKMSN (AK, modernized, folding, with side rail)
Or the AKS-74UB( AK74, foldable, shortened, silent. The B has a different rear sight that’s calibrated for subsonic ammo)

Should be though. You don't see shotguns in a modern battlefield. they fill a niche role and can't stand up head to head against rifle calibers
Rifles imply “rifling” exists in the barrel, designed to impart spin to stabilize a projectile in flight, similar to the flight of a football when thrown. Shotguns are smooth bore predominantly, so they are not considered rifles. Slugs for shotguns typically have angle-shaped flutes molded into the projectile itself to imitate this effect in a smooth bore, but not nearly as effective.
Every shotgun sold these days has both barrel options so really you can’t say rifling makes a rifle anymore.

You can get rifled barrels. And on slugs the grooves /rifling on the slug serves absolutely zero purpose in reality.

I've just now realized the MCX is an absolute hidden gem with the suppressor. Usable after getting flea, all the way to through Trader LL3.
The AUG has brought me many good Raids this Wipe. Recoil is insanely low with just a Mini-Monster. The 545s also feel great!

Ya I came here to say that haha. Pestoly mentioned bringing in the Barrett m82 to Nikita, but I have a feeling a true .50 cal would be game breaking. Would basically be the same round the DSHK Mounted MGs shoot. Too much power for one man to be able to wield lol. And like TMO mentioned in this video when the Mosin came out it was game breaking and they had to change the whole health system to fix it, so imagine what having ppl run around with a semi auto .50 BMG with a holo Or something would do to the game. Although I’d love to see it, perhaps if they balance it to have like 0 ergo, making it only viable as a squad weapon (basically have to lay down and snipe with it). I’ve never used the AXMC yet so maybe it’s already like this with guns like that. But it would have to be very unwieldy (it weighs over twice as much as the AXMC and nearly 3x the MK18 Miljnor at 30LBs).
@kristiancolley8290 the mosin would have been fine they just listened to guys like pestily whining about nothing and changed it.

The one thing that flies under the radar is actually the MP9-N. The MP9 has less rate of fire so it sounds like it should be more controllable, but the MP9-N is dirt cheap with a blistering 1100 RPM and the way the recoil works right now, that rate of fire kicks it through its full recoil spread and flattens it back out immediately. You get the same performance as a kitted Vector for 1/4 the cost.
I would run that if i had access to the ap ammo im just not sure if its good with lower ammo

You don't get the hip fire bonus if the lazer is on the scope mount.
Running scav on reserve I've got an whole ammo box and more of 545 BP ammo (2700+) and then hundreds of BS/7n40/ingolnik etc. The AKS 74U is king right now even with level 3 traders.
I run streets for mine you doing ammo boxes or lose loot i know nothing about reserve.
Mostly loose loot, but reserve seems to have a good chance of spawning 120 boxes inside the green wood crates. Depending on where I spawn I'm out within 15-20 mins with a few hundred rounds of PP or better.
Finally a tier list which puts the FAL/SA-58 at the top of S-tier! I use it almost exclusively this wipe, and the FAL is by far one of my favorite guns in real life too, that's why I try to use it as much as I can in Tarkov. I mean it's pretty expensive to fully mod it out and there are certainly cheaper options, but using the SA-58 is my favorite way to play the game. Just like in real life, .308 rifles are my favorite, I mean I like ARs and AKs as much as the next guy, and I own one of each, but if I were in an armageddon/apocalypse/war scenario in real life, I would choose nothing less than the full-power rifle round that is .308/7.62x51. I try to play Tarkov as if it is happening in real time and as if this is my real life at stake, so I make decisions in-game according to what I'd do if this was happening in real life. If I'm in a real warzone, I'm not trusting my life with 5.56, it's accurate and good for unarmored targets, but if I want the best chances of winning gunfights and staying alive, .308 is the round I'm getting behind. I set my SA-58 up as an sbr with the 11" barrel, then I give it the BRS or the Magpul stock, the 50-rd drums, and I usually run the Burris 1-4x lpvo, as well as a suppressor, and the NCStar blue laser. The gun has mediocre ergo, but the recoil is actually pretty manageable, and I've found that that setup lets the rifle be somewhat of a jack of all trades. When I'm in a tight corridor type situation, I can just use the laser as my sight and not have to ads at all, and the gun frickin melts PMCs lol, especially with the 50-rd drums. Because even if not all my shots are accurate, my mag still lasts WAY longer than my opponent's typically, and it's almost impossible for them to have a chance to do anything while they're having a continuous full-auto spray of .308 at them. Just lay on the trigger lol. And then if I'm in a mid-range or sniping range situation, I switch to semiauto, turn the laser off, and get on the 4x scope and try to go for just one-taps to the head. The SA-58 really can do it all. I'm surprised that not a lot of people seem to run them, I literally have never found a single one of them on PMCs, I always have to buy mine from the Flea. And I've watched other Tarkov tier lists, and it seems most people rank the SA-58 somewhere between B and even D tier, which I find odd because I've always considered it an S-tier weapon. It definitely was done favors by the new recoil system, it wasn't as easy to use last wipe, but I still think it was an S-tier weapon even then.

Solid info, with some great tips. It will defo be more time consuming, but I highly recommend writing yourself a script for these kinds of vids and having the list and your reasoning sorted out before hand so you don't flip back and forth on so many guns. I also agree with adding the name to the pics, it's really hard to tell on some and the people that CAN tell MIGHT yell at the screen when you mix them up. Maybe. Can neither confirm nor deny. Ok, definitely.

My brother has run exclusively the MCX since he got flea. Jesse kazam made a guide about the 5 guns the recoil fixed, and his video jumped it's price on the flea by 20k. Now your video is out, and the ammunitions are running 1k a round on the flea. Jokes on them - he runs Whisper rounds. He is quite incensed about everyone making his gun expensive.

I heard you mention the SAG 5.45 AK in your newest barter video, so I came to check out this one. I absolutely love the SAG AK. It has amazing ergo for what it is and it's super cheap to kit out. Definitely my favorite gun this wipe.

As a first wipe enjoyer. I have to say, this has been some of the most fun I’ve had in a shooter in a while. I really enjoy the recoil rework, it really brought into a game that I was to hesitant to play.
SAG feels crazy if you have good aim and acuracy is my go to weapon this wipe so fast to ads , literally no recoil and super cheap , you can get it for under 100k with a supressor and sight

Try the ftx slugs and a 2-3x optic on shotguns. Worked super well for setup and silent caliber.

The Lebedev PL-15 is an amazing sidearm. I'm 19 points away from lvl 3 mastery this wipe with it. It's cheap, has zero recoil and has big mags. This thing has killed squads while I grind SBIH and other bolt action quests. I understand the pistol class of weapon in EFT is kind of bad but out of all the pistols this one stands near the top. Next time you have to bring a bolt action out use this sidearm and swing pmc's while prefiring at head level with AP ammo.
Id rather have a five seven, 45 usp, or glock imo

I think the majority of aks have fine recoil if you dont build just for ergo iv been using the -5recoil vertical grip and building for recoil and it has very tight recoil on ak74 12and 101

My theory has been proven that people sleep so hard on the FTX lite slugs, it literally has 20 pen enough to go through 80% of all soft armors in the game 150+ damage -25 recoil +accuracy (also dirtcheap) With the Saiga 12 drum in 25 raids i have never been outgunned, only died to crabs or 3 mans. U yappin
They are super accurate, if your a head tapper or place your shot wells they are deadly. That being said it doesnt make them S tier or anything just more your a good player.

I disagree with AK-103 Being worse than mutant and RD704 since the 103,4 has less recoil dispersion (horizontal spread after 20 ish bullets) than both mutant and Rd which could be huge as it helps you fire without spread longer and also not to mention the fact that 103 can mount a GP-25 Grenade launcher and it's cheaper to mod or just buy the weapon it self.
Grenade launchers are too heavy to be viable at all atm.
You can remove alot of it if you use the vertical grip 12 something its called ads -5 recoil.
nahhhhh, you just have to accept that you will have 0 ergo. slap a suppressor on, whatever other attachments because it literally does not matter. the gp-25 has huge -% to recoil and is better than any foregrip @@TickleMePinkGaming

Iv been using the mp9-n alot this wipe and i think its way better then the mp9 i use it as my cheap loot runner the 9-n has 1100 rpm and its recoil finishes the moment you start shooting instead of at the end of the mag like the base mp9 .

Im really new to tarkov, I havent finished your video yet but I LOVE THE ADAR! i have 3 pimped out to all hell and can pop heads or just hip fire wipe players or squads with the 60 round or 100 rounder to make a Longgdar! Also I have never really liked Ak's in any games or real life bu5 i LUVVV the ak545 kitted with the 60 round mag

Something that's important to note for the 209, APM's are currently one of the strongest rounds in the game currently and are onetapping through many, many gen4 vests. It's insanely good right now, use it, a lot.

Gotta comment regarding the shotguns:
The go-to ammunition this wipe is 50 BMG slug. That shit slaps. It is basically an available AP 20 proxy. The 192 DMG is insane, I've killed people through tier 4/5 vests a lot in 1-3 hits. You can shoot it on medium to long range too. It also doesnt have the same recoil problems as buckshot. To me, the Benelli ranks higher. It is available for like 26k on the flea and is easily modded. Full gun less than 100k.
Regarding the AMCX:
In the beginning of the video you said you wanted availability of the weapon to matter as well. It is insanely tedious to get. The average player doesnt see even unlock it in a wipe. Therefore, I feel like S-Tier is too high.

I dont think its that hard to unlock but I guess that is personal, anyone who wants it could easily get it. The semi auto lapua is kinda monotonous though.
@@TickleMePinkGaming Well for starters, you have to reach lvl 33 before even unlocking the quest.
Then you have to play specific, more expensive gear for a unspecified number of raids, hoping the boss spawns and you are the first to reach it.
Compare that to reach lvl 15 and pay 30k for a gun.
I'm not saying its impossible or even ultra hard to get.
I'm just saying on the availability scala, it should be one of the lowest.
Good thing availability is just 1 variable

You forgot the FN 5.7 definitely S tier pistol this wipe Ive been destroying with it as a back up to bolt actions. I run R37.F in the pistol and long barrel P90 it melts everything.

I belive you're partially wrong about the RPDN, it all depends on how heavy ur armor is and if u wear a helmet.
Sure, you can wear inferior protection to make up for a heavy weapon. That still makes the weapon inherently worse when another weapon doesn't face those restrictions.
Ever tryed the APS ( Yes not the APB ) in singel fire ? Its the best budget pistol in the game, i ADORE it and it deserves at least B tier in my opinion.
When it comes to best in slot (best attachments and best ammo unlocked) I think the MDR is the best overall this wipe as the gun has got it all. Great tier list but imo and I think people will agree that it’s better than the spear due to the ammo available so an m61 mdr is going to slap harder than the spear. It’s better than the SA as the ergo on that gun is awful even though it’s a beast and the mk18 is good but I would say only for certain situations with it being semi auto. Forgetting how hard it is to get the weapons, I think the MDR 7.62 is the best this wipe without a doubt.

"rifle" is referring to the rifling of the barrel - in tarkov terms the only shotgun that could be considered a rifle would be the mp-18. but otherwise no, shotguns are smoothbore so not rifles.

You can get an m4 everytime using the terrercorp armory key on streets one spawns in the weapon rack every game i have a box of m4s

Shotguns and rifles are not the same. But both are classified as "Long guns". I think thats wjay you were thinking of. Hope thats answers your question.

@@TickleMePinkGaming yes, the biggy diff is the ammo. Even rifled slugs get a short brass, maybe an inch or less, and… used to be paper shell body, lol. Now plastic. But it’s not a sealed brass… Those are the way for rifle and pistol ammo…
Most shotslugs are relatively slow and heavy, like the .45 ACP meme… Wrecking balls.
I tried to test the indexing of the ak 100 series guns. There is no difference at all both of them tip up atthe same range from what i could see

M1A nerfed so bad - even meta SASS built with QDC silencer has more recoil than stock G28 or SR-25 with silencer. Useless right now and Test-Drive quest is pain in the ass with such high recoil.
M9A3 - worst 9mm pistol in the game, no reason to use.

545s ammo avaliablity shouldnt hold its guns back you can easily farm bt from raiders on lighthouse or from reserves ammo boxes
its a bit hard to consistantly run on any man if its the main gun you run

Yeah that was bothering me too, there are no slug gun barrels for the shotguns in tarkov so none of them are rifled. Also the KS-23 is a rejected anti aircraft barrel, I don't remember if they were already rifled before armory QA testing but they might be. Another fun fact the mp-18 is smooth bore so it is technically a shotgun, it's even classified as one in tarkov but it doesn't count for any shotgun task.

The Vepr 209 is legally classed as a shotgun in Russia because it has a smoothbore barrel. Made this way to circumvent Russian gun laws, you can get shotguns easily but rifles take years of owning a shotgun licence to purchase.
super 90 is my fav shotgun but you actually cannot use it in setup, has to be an mp series shotgun

@unsubme2157 yeah I have so much m80 so I'll try an sa58 at some point, currently just running a super low recoil rd704 tho and it's been fantastic for hip fire, only expensive part is the buffer tube and the zenit rk2 foregrip for recoil

Shotguns aren’t rifles - shotguns are smooth bore, so don’t have any rifling. Mostly has to do with the inside of the barrel.

In contrast, rifling allows the projectiles to travel further and straighter.
The difference between a shotgun and a rifle is like the difference between me and Tom Brady - he throws a football much farther because he can throw a tight spiral whereas I throw a “duck” every time that goes like 20 yards.

762x51 and 556 versions, i think 620-750 RPM, am sure someone else knows specifics, but thats why I think it would be a great add. There may be other chambered versions and stuff as well. Nikita did confirm it is coming at some point though, Hopefully the FAMAS will get added as well
