MP2002-406 Former President Truman Discusses Anti-Catholic Sentiment

Harry S. Truman talks about a meeting in 1923 with the Ku Klux Klan when he was a judge in Jackson County. He was told not to appoint any Catholics to office. Mr. Truman states, “I blew up.”
