Forgotten - Madame Sidney Pratten - Annette Kruisbrink, guitar

Catharina Josepha Pelzer as Madame Sydney Pratten (1821-1895). The German-English 19th century guitarist, composer and teacher Catharina Josepha Pelzer who was known by the professional name of Madame Sidney Pratten (in 1854 she married the flutist and composer Robert Sidney Pratten) was a native of Mulheim on the Rhine. She played many concerts and wrote over 250 compositions and several Méthodes for the guitar.
