    This is an Arab dish and it consist of meat like lamb, mutton,chicken, turkey or beef; that is cut thinly. Then stacked in a pita bread with vegetables. This is deliciously serve with garlic mayonnaise. The meat is usually roast in a slowly-turning rotisserie, but now many are re-creating the dish and they are cooking it in an oven or the simplest way in cooking it is by pan frying the meat. And because Shawarma is loved by so many they add cheese sauce on it to make it more delectable.
    ingredients:
    1 large cucumber, thinly sliced
    2 large tomatoes, thinly sliced
    1 large onion, thinly sliced
    Tenderloin version:
    500g chilled tenderloin(beef/pork)
    1/4 cup soy sauce(more if preferred)
    1 tbsp calamansi juice
    1 tbsp white vinegar
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1 tbsp garlic, minced
    1/4 tsp ground pepper
    1/2 beef broth cube
    1/4 tsp chili powder(more if preferred)
    Ground meat version:
    500g ground meat(pork/beef)
    1 med. sized onion, minced
    1/2 tbsp garlic,minced
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 tbsp oyster sauce
    1 tsp brown sugar
    1/2 beef broth cube
    1 tbsp soy sauce
    Pita Bread:
    2 cups all purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    2 tbsp cooking oil
    3/4 cup water
    Turmeric rice: good for 2 pax
    1 cup rice, wash & Rinsed
    1 cup chicken broth
    1 tbsp butter/margarine
    1/2 tsp turmeric powder
    pinch of salt
    Garlic Mayo sauce:
    1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
    1/3 cup evaporated milk
    1 tbsp garlic, minced
    2 tsp white sugar
    1/4 tsp ground pepper
    1 tbsp white vinegar
    1/4 tsp salt
    *add chili to make it spicy
    Cheese Sauce:
    1/2 cup Cheeze Whiz
    1/8 cup evaporated milk
