I’ve been wanting to make my own press ons (personal use) for ages and this vid was so helpful! It would be awesome if you could do a vid or list with the products and tools you use, even if you put a paywall behind it (with patreon or something), I would really find it useful :) ty!!
This is really inspiring!!!
My family has been going through some tough times and I might have to withdraw from uni and it’s my last year so it’s really painful to think about but I’m determined to use the time from school to start my own business after eyeing the nail industry for years now. Wish me luck!!
Good luck! 🎉
@@wie_der_mond thank youu 🤍
i really hope you don’t have to withdraw
I hope everything works out for you, good luck!!
The title doesn't describe how perfect this story is
Bruhhh this is incredible!!
Press ons are so much easier for me than trying to paint a creative design on my non dominant hand 😅 I finally made some applied them with what I thought was careful execution; but they were popping off after 4 days!
I would love your insights on how you best keep ur babies on 💅🏼🙏🏼
ouuu definitely going to get into application!

whoaa thank you for sharing, glad I can help even just a lil 💕
Wow love this! Appreciate this so much ❤
the markup on these is insane for nails that looks like a junior nail tech or student painted them x_x

Im so excited for your next video! What do you recommend as the first step in creating your press on nail business? I have been looking to start one but have felt so overwhelmed with where to begin because I feel like there's so much to do. I don't mind doing the work and understand it will be a lot of time and responsibility. Im so happy I found your video through Tik Tok. This video was very helpful.
so glad it was helpful! going to hopefully cover all these questions in upcoming videos. First step I would say practice your art/ nails, and start sharing your work (even before you are ready to launch…it takes a while to grow an audience/ following/ build trust w customers!) 💜
Such a good vid!! 😍 editing was amazing! Can’t wait to see more! 💗💗
from the nail vlog queen herself 🫡🥲😭🫶💜 so kind thank you I
Love your set up! Do you add any builder gel to the nails or is the Korean gels you use thick enough to add strength to your press on nails?
New subscriber - loved the video and appreciate the knowledge you're sharing ♥️
🥹🤗💜
I have no plans to do this myself, but thoroughly enjoyed this vid. When will u be restocking??!

gracias!! enviando amor a argentina ❣
Thank you for your amazing video, I have a question about what did you use for sticker the nail to the stand? Have a wonderful day and year.
I know what I'm getting my mom for Christmas this year.
Thank you so much
Love the video! Quick question! How do you put the nails on your finger? Glue?
Omg I follow you on tiktok! Instant follow on here 💕 thank so much for this vid can’t wait to see the others
Yay! Thank you!
I love your work so much, thanks for the amazing content! How do you keep track of your orders? Once packaged I see you store them away but how do you keep track of which nails go to who?
this is so helpful! i was wondering though if using gel x tips is any different to using other tips in the application and removal process?
Cann you please list the products? I loved that chrome pen
I aspire to do this! I’ve always loved painting my nails and nail art in general. I want to practice on myself until one day I am able to create a small at home business where I can sell press on nails
Have you heard of the quarter method for sizing? Where your client takes a photo of their nails with a quarter in the frame, you then match a quarter to size perfectly against the photo and can then size the nails over the photo. What do you know/think about this as a sizing tool?
I have hear, but never tried, so unfortunately can’t make the call.
Hi Mini Ami! What a super educational video! I'm just new to the nail industry and I also want to start making press on nails. May i ask where you got your nails from? I can't find good nails anywhere… Looking forward to your next video!🫶🏻
hi! welcome! the nail tips? they are apres bran, recommend looking up a supplier near you 🫶🫶🫶
Cool video, I’m interested to see the rest of your process. I recognize you from TikTok, I love your content over there too! So zen!
No way! Thank you!!
I agree friend!❤
Absolutely gorgeous. Would you ever consider making a product list? I have no clue where to get those pre cut double stick tape not the design size of the cards for mounting the nails. Thank you for any response 🙏
Thanks!
Jane!! ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
Hi!!! Very helpful!!! Thank you 😊 however could you please explain why you painted the tips pink first only to cover them with black and then chrome??
Ela fez isso, pela estética por baixo
Hi, thank you so much for all the details, very generous from you❤ i like to know hoy you avoid air bubbles under the tip? When we do soft gel the indication is to avoid air under the tip in order to prevent any fongus . How do you now there is no air? Love your work! Cheers from chile
such a good question - water will only be able to enter if there are bubbles or lifting around the edges. If there is an air bubble in the middle it will likely affect the longevity of the press on but until the edges lift (which is visibly noticeable) you don't really have to worry too much about it. Going to make an application video though to talk about avoiving air bubbles getting long lasting press ons x
What do you suggest we do in order to be able to wear our press ons without them popping off but also able to be removed without damage?
Also if anyone wants to practice making press ons but doesnt have to budget for all the fancy stuff, I recommend Miss A/AOA Studio press on nails. They arent the best but they are fairly sturdy for a dollar per set. You will definitely have leftovers but I just use them to test and practice out designs :D
Hi
You do a wonderful job ❤
I have a question for you.
It seems that I am not able to purchase that prep, apres 3, in ontario, what else would you suggest? Only dehydrator and primer 😢
Thank you very much, and I am looking forward to hearing from you! 😊
Oh and one more thing, as someone just starting out, how would I know what package of nails to purchase for the proper sizing for clients? I see small, medium and large bit are they still numbered like the tips are?
Again, thank you for you expertise!!!❤
Hi 👋 am a fan and I will be starting my press on business really soon and I wanted to ask how many nail polish did you start with?
Love the video. I literally just stared doing press on for me but i my nail seem to be shrinking in size. Do you have any tips on how to avoid this or why it even happens?
This was great! The set is so pretty!!! Where did you get the lamp?
linked in the description!
Do you get your designs online or you just freehand? These are so beautiful
Thanks alot!
So kind, thank you!! x
Wonderful ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
this is soooo helpful thank you a lot! as someone who loves managing tidying things up i love how organised this is! i was wondering, as someone who wants to start START a press-on nails business while having little budget, do you have any suggestions on how to choose colours as my starting kit? like i dont have the budget to buy every single colours i want 😂 do i have to buy primary colours and work my way up there by mixing some of them to get the colour i want, or is it better to just follow what my niche is and buy accordingly? (and even so, what colours i should buy? should i have to have black and white gel as my option or what 😂 the constrains are overwhelming) sorry i ask too much but i would appreciate a lottt if you take your time to answer this
ouuuu I love this question! Maybe I’ll make a whole other video about this…in the meantime my “10 products to start a press on nail shop” is a great place to start!
i've seen you on tiktok!!! i'm so glad you appeared on my youtube home page :-') i was also just getting into press on nails when i realised a 6 led bulb lamp (those mini ones) isn't going to cure my nails completely LMAO (i've placed it in like 6-7 times for 30s and it's still not fully cured) so am waiting to get my hands on a bigger nail lamp TT in the mean time will definitely enjoy ur videos hehehe
yayy!! So glad to have you here as well!
@@miniamipress o btw there's a small typo under the sizing page of your website for step 1 [at the weidest part], thought you should know sdhksdh
Hi. Great video 😊 What did you use to hold the nails to their stands? I’m not the biggest fan of that tacky putty that comes with most kits, but haven’t found a good alternative. Thanks!
I use nail tabs! (see my "10 Product..." video I show how I use them)
Sub #277 hereeeee🎉🎉🎉
Cannot wait for your 2nd upload
Eeeek thank youu! second vid is live ;)
I thought i had too much stuff. Now i know that i need more!!!!! Thank you for this! I cant wait to get it all in order and make my first sell. Im drooling over your color collection! I use an eyeshadow brush to lay the chrome..
You dont need more haha! (though I always feel this way 😩). ouuu exciting let me know when you make your first sale!!
Great video!! Where do you buy your korean gel products? I'm in The Netherlands ^^
Thank u for this video 🖤😊
What product you can use to stick the press on?? I buy one sticker pack but they don't work well 😢
What lamp do you recommend? I've heard the press ons are difficult with lamp sensors.
Do you have a workshop on how to start? Thank you so much!!! I’m so excited to see bts army here!!! Yay
Love your videos!! What is that green jelly thing called that you used in a large tub?
Is essentially a non-chemical dust remover it's sticky bedroom maintain its entertainment is being a blob and you just press it down on suracs what are major dust attractors or at least dust is extremely noticeable and then even if it's a very minimal amount. They also use these pretty heavily for cleaning up dust around things like your keyboard without having to take all the buttons off
please do more I just started my press on journey :) also where is the whine the pooh top coat from :)
Woho!! new video coming tomorrow ;)
For painting do you use the gel polish or it’s a special nail paint ?
This is an old video, so idk if you will see this comment, but can you please make a video on how to apply the press on nails so they actually stay on and not pop off. Then, how to remove them in a way you can reuse the nails if possible.
Love this. But I didn’t see the nails u are using on the links , am I not clicking the right places ? I wanna try to make my own :) hehe
Which is your website? And how did you build it? Or what channels do u use for commerce? And thank u. I love ur video
Hi ! I really like your iPad case, where did you get it :0
3:31 what did u use to prep and to remove shine, not asking about buffer.
Thank you this is very helpful ❤ may i know the size of the paper that you use for the packaging?
3x4”!
Love this Video 😍 Are those All special Orders? Because of the nail sizes. My idea is to make much more sizes in one Design and sell it like so, but there would be nails left over and this is stupid because of the effort which is put in every nail. This is my only thing where I dont know how to Deal with it. Keep going. Best wishes 👍🏼😉
ugh this is such a struggle…I have customers size and do only 10 because my designs are often complex if you are doing simpler designs it might be worth doing more than 10
this video motivated me so much!!! thank you. also, can i ask? i was just wondering if clients only need a basic nail glue or some special one u know. if they use some ordinery one, would it still work for multiple uses? sorry for my english i hope i explained it well.
I provide the nail glue (the kind I used is linked in the description under nail favs)
@@miniamipressthanks!!!
Man getting sales is the hardest part ugh I’m still in business but I gave up my online store months ago
Very nice video
What do you use to keep the nail pressed on the magnets? Is it double sticky tape?
Where do you buy the clear press on nails. They look harder than the one you get on aliexpress
Had an issue gel related, so I’m on the press on 🚂🚂🚂
What do you use to stick the nails to those bases where you paint them on?
I like your videos
What did she use to pick up the nails when she was packaging it
I am a nail technician, and I see that this technique is going well, I tried to do it but the color that is applied after the base on top of the gel tip comes off from the tip over time, any advice?
love this video it was so relaxing to watch! ❤
for designs, how do you go about requests of designs that aren't 'yours'? that's what's tripping me up in starting 😭 do i go and ask the design's creator for permission or is providing credit okay?
great q! it can be sometimes really hard to track down the original artist. No need to ask, I think giving credit to whoever inspired you is enough 🫶
@@miniamipress TYSM!
how did u deal with the bubble after u saw it though??
But what you use to actually glue them onto your nails? Not gel glue right? Like a weaker nail glue? To be able to pop them off and on?
How do we then paste this? In the nails? Which glue is the most long lasting?
Hello what did you use to stick the nail to the stand?
What do you use to clean the nail polish off the inside of the nail
How do you know when to ship the orders ?
When it comes to sizing for example if the customer gives you the ml do you meassure the tips to match it or do the nails come with the details ?
Q 1: I have a 14days processing time, so I know that to meet customer expectations, I have to ship them no later than two weeks after they’ve made their purchase.
Q 2: On the apres website there is a chart that details the tip sizes in mm (inner curve, length and width) of each nail tip size. So I use the inner curve measurement to match to the customer’s size
I personally want to try this method because it will allow me stick the nails under the uv light longer without having my fingers/skin affected. Ive realized that the gel i use has been taking FOREVER to curebunder the lamp 😢
I do have a question
Are these acrylic nails with gel paint or are they gel nails?
nice
