    Even though GOrdon is one of the best chefs in the world he is always trying to try out new cuisines and expand his horizon...I mean how many chefs in the world would go to remote villages and try out a dish made of insects...Gordon is truly devoted to his passion...

    Being an indigenous person myself I feel like really overwhelmed that he visited a part of us where he actually got to know the culture we follow it is really like amazing that how he covered the whole part of India one by one of South effects north effect east he actually covered the parts which are never been shown on TV National television it is really amazing how he actually is considered as the best chef in the world it's not because all it's not always because of his cooking it's because he is willing to learn something which has never been shown on TV which is never been known to the people I'm really glad that the history of us people of our cuisine is actually known to the world now because it was never known to our people itself like Indians never knew what we cook what we had what was our culture they never wanted to know but a foreigner coming from another country is now a reaveling what and how we people actually live it's really amazing to know this

    The forest ants are called "Kurkuti" in local language of Jharkhand & Odisha. The best part was when you tasted it for the first time and we really enjoyed watching your reactions. 😅Huge fan of you Sir. Blessed be. Love from India.🙏

India used to have 25 percent of worlds gdp at one point but 98 percent of indias wealth was distributed among just around 200 families,the Maharajas of Jodhpur were one of them. We nowadays speak of top one percenters but they were top 0.001 percenters. Even though their shown property today is much less than what they had before THE british , they are far more richer than gordon and see Gordon as just a British cockney.

This desert cooked mutton and the ants & eggs chutney from the last episode, look superior unique and are definitely intriguing!     I truly admire Chef Gordon for his interests of travel around the world to exploring, trying to prepare and tasting local and authentic cuisines while at the same time he is so humble and willing to embrace cultural diversities.
    He also visited Laos, my home country and he forgot to try ກ້ອຍໄຂ່ມົດແດງ or Red Ants Caviar Salad. It’s really good Chef Gordon and it’s considered as a “high end” dish because the key ingredients are from the top of the trees and it’s an occasional dish that is available once a year.

    mahua is loved by most of the villagers in India i used to go to my nanis house and my nani made all sorts of things like chutney, pickle, sabzi with mahua and they even make an alcoholic drink (i think it's the same thing they drank earlier).
    but i never drank it as i was a child lol

    The desert experience was mind-boggling..
    Building sandcastles in the Desert ...Cooking pits and the ancient art of cooking methods ,cooking in sal and banana leaves in manmade ovens...The flavors are infused in the food ...A completely different flavor profile...Mind blowing is an understatement ...A culinary explorer extraordinaire....

    What I love about these Great Escape episodes (I wished there were more than 2 seasons) is that sometimes, it’s the *other* guy who’s the celebrity and Ramsay who has to do the grunt work.
    Like in Thailand where McDang had his army of staff while Ramsay was by himself.

    28 states r there in India and they are totally different and can say 28 countries each - north India is totally different from south India - food , language , culture everything ... so don’t assume just northern part as whole India 🇮🇳... but we r united “ unity in diversity “
