Hey man, first and foremost this is hands down the best INPA video I've seen. You've got a way with explaining things. I bought the same kit you did for turning off an airbag light (after replacing accident airbag) on an e46 m3. My problem is, I don't have a laptop with XP on it. If I install it on a Window's 7 laptop will that feature be gone?
Very clear video, good job. Still waiting for your other video showing how to use it. For those having a hard time finding the e46 chassis in INPA, it's there, because I've seen it. Don't skip steps during installation like someone suggested. E46 is under F3, or under Older Models section. There are several versions of INPA so it is not the same option in every version, but it's there. Also, my car has both OBD port and diagnostic port under the hood. Seems to work better with the diagnostic port, though I was unable to clear some codes / correct some errors with INPA. Not what I was hoping for. Installed on win XP laptop.
i dont have F3 menu, and older models came just e36 and e39, e46 is nowhere

1:39 why spend money getting another computer just setup a win xp 32 bit virtual matchine. It was relatively simple and everything works.

To be honest, this whole car software stuff is so untransparent, if you are new, you dont understand anything at all, but you sir ! you are the first one that actually installs is like in a way i know what to do lol..
Question, you selected OBD as installing interface, but I want to install OBD and ADS at the same time, is this possible ?

thanks for the tutorial. i got mine working after watching ur vid. but recently i added a usb cam and the cable failed after that. luckily i just needed to remove and reinstall the usb-serial driver and it worked again. ps. seems the xpmode virtual machine needs to be restarted also.

Hello, I would like to start off by saying your video is awesome on how to setup INPA software, very detailed and clear. However, like you also mentioned, I bought my software with the cable itself. The software looks similar, but doesn't look exactly like the software you are describing. There is a driver folder and three other programs that doesn't state (1-3 steps) and I don't see the next folders to open when I open either of the three other programs. Long story short. Can you give me the directory towards the exact link where you downloaded your software, this way I can follow along with you as I would see exactly what you see when I open folders. Thanks man I would REALLY appreciate this. And great tutorial.

After selecting UK rectification programs during install, my car's ECU reset itself to UK's config - now my left & right side door & mirror controls have switched places.

Great video as usual. I have watched pretty much every vid you have made in regards to the E46 DIY's and they are all very informative. Have you made the video about using the software yet. I have not been able to find it in your list of them. I am very interested in seeing what all you can do with this device. I only have windows 10 on my laptop so before I try to find one with XP I would love to see it in operation. Thanks for all you have done for us DIY'ers. Hope Cali is working out for you too!!!

Bro I followed all your steps but I don’t see F3 as E46. There is no option to select E46 model? What should I do?
installed on Windows 10 and all functions worked, I then installed on XP Professional 32 bit and had problems. What vendor's software are you referring to?
The final portion of the installation I’m having an issue with. Quick question, when you plugged the cable into the port, are you also plugged in the cable up to to car? I plug my cable and nothing happens. I have XP but that software box doesn’t appear. Also, what box is that? The video cut off what is was named. Very helpful and useful video btw.

Great vid. Finally got it to download but what now lol. Can you make a video preferable with a 2011 e90 with n52 engine or any bmw about INPA. How do we use the software to diagnose issues like fuel trim, maf , 02 sensor to find issues with the car? What should 02 sensors or maf sensor be reading how to get to each menu. There's nothing on youtube in regards to simple diagnosis. Thanks in advanced

I have a 2011 750i x drive F01. I would like to reset the transfer case adaptation. Should I buy just any INPA cable + cd from eBay and it will work or do I need a specific INPA cd program for my car? Thanks

Specially I'm looking for something that shows Airbag Single Stage to Dual Stage configuration. Looking forward to swap my e46's triangular wheel to newer dual stage round airbag equipped wheel.
Hi, thanks for posting this video. I'm currently trying to figure out how to rewrite a vin number to a swapped dsc/abs module that was faulty. If you could give me some more information on how to perform these tasks with this software suite and how to recalibrate the steering wheel angles, I was told that is a necessary step in order to get the abs module to work again. I have a 2003 E46 330 ZHP, in case you wanted to know.
You would have to use ncs expert and an older version of inpa to be able to recalibrate the steering angle sensor. I would search on e46 fanatics and bimmerforums as there are in depth diy's on how to do this
Yeah, I figured out I had to solder pins 7 & 8 together on my DCAN cable and re-coded the module in no time. I appreciate the reply though :)

Do you know if the INPA will clear the "driver restraint system fault" code? I was able to clear the check engine light with inpa, but the driver restraint system fault code is still there....
Hi mate. I have a 2011 E90. The head unit has bluetooth enabled and has the USB port on the back of the unit. How do I code it so that the USB option shows up on the HU to enable me to stream music from my iphone or USB drive?

great video; If someone (like i did!) sees no labels under F2, F3 for E46 & E53 need configure inpa ini file, save and update.

You need to add that when you do step 3, the e46 is removed. For thoes who want to use inpa on e46 need to skip step 3.
Hi, I have INPA 5.0.6 installed on a Win 7 OS, and I can't figure out why my engine N63 is not listed under option F6.
The car is a 2009 X6 4.4l N63 engine.

Can you select Rectification program USA onstead of UK if you live in the states? Or Is the UK version just better?
