Thank you for this wonderful recipe. Growing up in Germany my Mom would make this tart every weekend with a design out of Strawberries, bananas, mandarin oranges from the can and sliced kiwi. It was always my highlight of the weekend.

Personally, I was impressed with the nice dark, strong tea that came out of your tea pot. Too many people pour tea that looks like water, so as soon as I saw that rich dark colour I knew it would be perfect with your strawberry tart.
A wonderful recipe, similar to one I’ve used before. Except I add chopped strawberries to the cream cheese filling. Definitely a summer favourite. 🇬🇧

Strawberries with a hair net - ha, ha. Preventing "finger blight". A phrase Roger Swain from Victory Garden said about people taking samples from the garden. Which should be poured from a cordial glass. Very funny! Nice tart.

Yum! I resisted tarts at a French bakery in St. Augustine. The croissants were like bread and butter cotton candy. It's an amazing place. Your tart looks as delicious as what they had in the case, and it's much easier.

what a gorgeous dessert! That dough looked really supple and not fussy to handle too. I'm thinking of making this for my mom but making it with a sort of almond crust, and replacing the the sugars with swerve to make it low carb.
