For me Mielle works better when it freshly washed without leave in product. So far it’s the only product I like 🤷🏾♀️

The Shea Moisture side looks better to me. I think it just didn’t layer well with the Miche. Without that, you probably wouldn’t have flakes.

Girl, I 100% can tell you used different products and I like the Shea side a lot more even though I'm not loving it in the roots. The Shea side has a lot more volume, more defined, thicker curls while being looser and it looks a ton less crumped. The Mielle side makes your curls closer to the root too flat and they look wet. The definition is also not as clean. It sucks that you got flakes on the Shea side and that your hair doesn't feel right but it's probably because you mixed it with that Miche thing on there. I hate to say it this way too but Mielle is a ghetto brand like Motion, Cantu etc. Not very healthy for you and the results are mediocre compared to all their mid-level competitors out there like Shea Moisture, Carol's Daughter etc. Also, try and invest in a Tangle Teezer brush or Denman brush instead of what you use. It'll make a huge difference. Watch a tutorial on how to make the brushing movement too so your curls are on point.
