Maybe if there would be Austria-Hungary-Bohemia a lot would be different. Keeping the most industrialized and advanced part of monarchy unsatisfied was not such a great idea after all. We begged for recognition within the monarchy, but nobody listened until it was too late. I dont think Bohemians rejected the thought of keeping the Kaiser, just no one really cared about our demands and our longing for autonomy and partnership, rather then vassalage.

The term you're looking for is Czech. "Bohemian" isn't really a good adjective to describe us Czechs. It works, and really means the same thing, but is rather archaic.

You can use Bohemia in the sense of Czech only, which is more common but you can use it also in the sense of the whole region including Moravia.
I like the term Bohemian more. Czech is relatively new term compared to Bohemia. Bohemia is name still used in many languages. But mainly Bohemia refers to our Celto-Germanic roots, because it derives from the Celtic tribe of Boii people but the name is Germanized which also points to our connection to Germanic tribes. We are culturally more Austrian-ish than compared to the wilder Eastern Europe. Thus Bohemia makes me feel more in the Center of the Europe rather than being dragged to the wild Slavic east. People of Bohemia are mix of Celts-Germans and Slavs, it is not just Slavic. If I could I would actually rather call this country Republic of Bohemia than Czech Republic.

Czechs see themselves as superior because we had a state from around 870 (Bohemia) to 1806 while the Slovaks had their state for a few years before being incorporated into Moravia and later Hungary, Bohemia wasnt a protectorate but a kingdom in personal union with Austria (1526-1618,1620-1806)and later a crownland of the Austrian and the Austro-Hungarian empire, you really dont know much if you think that we see ourselves as better because of that, i personally dont have anything against Slovaks they are our brothers and most of these comments that Czechs make are usually jokes, i just think it has to do with the whole history of our lands.

The problem with this flag would be that the white color should be on the top, red in the middle and blue at the bottom. This is breaking the heraldic rules.

That is why Polish flag has white colour on the top and red in the bottom, beacuse there is white eagle on the red background so according to heraldic rules white must be on the top. Even if they would not it still would be wrong because the Czech tricolour is: White on the top, red in the middle and blue at the bottom.
Actually blue shouldnt be there at all. :-) Original colours were just white and red.
