Sigrid Stevenson, a 25-year-old graduate student, was attending Trenton State College (presently The College of New Jersey) in 1977 and was tragically violently beaten in the school’s Kendall Hall. Her body was found on stage next to the piano she adored playing when she was alive. The perpetrator left no prints. There were signs of SA and restraint markings. It was believed she was spending the night in the dark hall ahead of school coming back into session because she was waiting for her dorm to become available when school resumed for the fall semester. No suspects have ever been named in the brutal death of Sigrid.
One officer joked that he took Sigrid’s life, but he passed a polygraph test and the police stopped looking at this individual as a potential suspect. Police also looked at a man named Chuck. He played an officer in a play at Kendall Hall shortly before Sigrid was killed, however, DNA did not connect Chuck to the murder and he died in 2016. Other persons of interest by a cold-case investigator included a light crew member and a campus maintenance worker.
Sigrid is said to haunt Kendall Hall, as students have claimed that place has been haunted since her tragic passing. Slamming doors and other mysterious phenomena have been mentioned by those who have spent time in Kendall Hall.
We already know how and where she died, but what we’d like to explore more today is who did it and why. We are looking for clues to see who was responsible for this heinous attack on Sigrid.

Oh my, I used to live in Livermore from 1994-2003. The campground/reservoir you mentioned is Del Valle. We used to camp with my husband's side of the family there every year. I don't think I've heard of this case. Her poor family.😢
I kept getting possibly a professor or security officer. When the Judge/Law Enforcement/Legal card came up, I felt like it could have been a security person. She may have met them before when she would come to practice piano. They were kind & friendly before, but saw an opportunity to take advantage. 🤔
I spent so many summers at Lake Del Valle! We stopped going in 2010, as I got tired of roughing it (it didn't help I was pregnant that year, and a scorpion got in my tent). But, I have the fondest memories there with family and friends. It is so trippy that you and I were literally right around each other over the years!
I am getting those similar vibes, too, about who is responsible for taking Sigrid's life. You're right - I didn't even correlate the Judge/Law/Legal card to someone possibly being in law enforcement or security, but it makes sense to me (and would go with the ligature markings on her wrists, too). I agree - she thought this person was friendly and could be trusted, and then he turned on her.
DNA test those cops or their families would solved this case yesterday. Always trusting a cop is just ridiculous 😑

I got the King of Coins and the Knight of Coins. Whoever this was was older than her, established and had money. There was also the 3 of Cups so could be someone she knew. Abundant Life Tarot, Love your channel. I have heard about this case from Unsolved Mysteries with Robert Stack in the past. (One of my favorite Tv series by the way) Trenton University is now called The College of New Jersey. I am from New Jersey by the way. I agree with your theories. I think the killer has surely gotten help from somebody in his escape from justice. Hope he and the accomplice get captured eventually. Keep up the great readings! ❤
