Leaning towards leasing this same XSE hybrid -- Metallic Blue Crush -- in the fall. I only wish that the U.S. versions (built in Alabama) also included heated steering wheels. It gets cold in the Mid-Atlantic States too (as it does in the Midwest and New England States, I reckon). Maybe in the next build, they'll include a spare tire too? Luckily, I don't drive far but my luck, will get a flat tire on the highway.
Just ordered a burgundy one, loved our CHR but its time to move on. Just hoping ours will come in the next few months lol
I got a Corolla Cross in a rental, pretty smoth, unfortunately the hybrid version does not come with the spare tire because there hybrid battery cable goes in there , and a spare tire is important to me.
I've had Hyundai vehicles without spare tires (saves weight) and luckily I never needed to change a flat tire! Maybe by 2025, Toyota will redesign the electrical cables properly, so that they CAN add a mini-spare tire in the trunk.

@@garystar1592 replacing the tire by myself will take me literally 5 minutes, why would I call roadside assistance for something basic?
@@armandolo17 Go ahead and risk your life, especially on the side of the highway. Many people get killed like this. Safety first! The idea is to save weight, and not have the cable connection exposed like in the RAV4.
comes with a tire repair kit… whatever that is.

What would be your choice between Corolla Cross Hybrid 2025 vs Rav4 Hybrid 2025?
Considering Corolla Cross Hybrid may get mid cycle refresh in 2025 and Rav4 seems outdated and may not get next generation model until 2026?
I would always go rav4. It’s better known, resale, reliability, options etc

I live in the USA and I bought a 2024 Corolla Cross Hybrid XSE and a heated steering wheel wasnt even a option. I always wondered what that button was for in the dash. Mine is just blank.

For those watching this video in the US, our Corolla Cross Hybrid comes in three trim levels, not two... S, SE, and XSE.
USA= No heated steering wheel in 2024 model:(. However, the 2025 model has a refresh :)

@@ImMikeyIRock9 I did. Mine was already in transit before I even placed a deposit so there really was no wait time. I love it. The hybrid system is powerful and comparable to my usual V6.

I am away for the winter. I don’t think I can leave a hybrid in my garage for 5 months. If I can, please let me know! We have a 2023 venza and LOVE it!
Hybrids are fine in the garage as their battery pack is very small as it is recharged from the gas engine, not a power outlet. PHEV and EV are a different story.
Woulndt a Rav4 Hybrid XLE be a better option? It's very closely priced. Bigger interior, with spare tire. Am I missing anything?
Cost is in the Cross' favor, and its not much smaller.

Rav4 hybrid has the cablegate issue.
What’s the difference between the xse and nightshade?
Nightshade is the SE with cosmetic details and certain additional options (I think JBL stereo and moonroof/powered lift gate package).

What is the dealer cost? Not MSRP.
In Canada, dealers are not allowed to sell above MSRP but can do ad-ons you may not want.

I bought the Le FWD and is all I need.
Toyota is just padding the price with 'Oh, you have to take the AWD version if you ant Blah Blah Blah
I am just lucky I didn't get stuck paying for it over my FWD version.

Way overpriced.., thats a 40k plus car with the dealer mark ups… inquired and was told toyota does not offer financing fir this vehicle
