    Your relative has to be pleased with this dresser...it's absolutely GORGEOUS!!! Thanks for showing us your work & for identifying where you got the naturally stained base/legs idea (diy wife was where I first saw it too). I just can't get over the transformation of this dresser, it doesn't even resemble its former life...great job!!!

      It was exhausting 😆... I have a bad habit of wiping my hands on my clothes when working so I had to figure something out... (the overalls are my husbands old work clothes lol , and my scrubs are from my actual job which I probably shouldn’t wear🤫) thank you! ❤️

    This turned out beautiful, invest in the other kind of dolly, I have 2 of them and 10/10 recommend I have no regretted it, it makes spraying while the piece is on its back easier too!

    It looks great and I love seeing women on these projects and using power tools! For most of us, we learn as we go (I don’t think some men enjoy teaching us women- sadly!). But I got a lil scared when I saw you put ur face so close to the blade cutting the angle on that leg! You don’t want that small piece to kick back out at you. Careful when cutting small pieces ladies and gents & maybe take a look into diy sacrificial fences for those miter saws. Intimidating name “sacraficial fence” but when you understand the concept it’s definitely fitting. Thanks for the tips on this great dresser remodel, keep creating!! 😁

    I am proud of you for having the confidence to tackle such projects! One note of caution: free holding that piece of wood to taper the edge - nothing to keep the piece steady - is dangerous. The saw blade can easily grab and pull that wood. There are terrific saw safety videos on you tube as well (I did notice you had safety glasses on! ).
