Footballer Dixie Dean (22 January 1907 - 1 March 1980) played centre forward. He holds the record for the most goals scored in a single season in top-flight English football, and was one of the greatest centre-forwards of all time. He was inducted into the English Football Hall of Fame in 2002, and was born in Birkenhead (across the Mersey from Liverpool). He played for Everton.

Hi Eddy , you asked why the horse statue was green , it’s probably because it is made from Bronze or Copper and exposure to air and rain water over time it turns green, if it’s not coated regularly, there’s a pup near me with a copper roof it’s the same it’s turned green and as I’m typing I thought of a more famous statue that’s turned green is The Statue of Liberty there is a name for the process but I can’t remember what it’s called. Your enthusiasm is absolutely brilliant when your visiting cities ,although you seen to be running at the last minute for your train 😂 I’m the opposite I’m always really early for trains etc .I panic just watching you rush 🤣 Another suggestion for a city to visit possibly York ? I love New Street station. It's spacious and there's so many places to eat. I also bought my favourite perfume from a stall on the first floor. I hope they're still trading as I'm about to run out 😂😂

The museums are free. The River Mersey goes out to the sea. Shame you never made it to the Albert Dock.
St Georges hall was used as court house in Batman (2020) as was the Liver building.
Also used for filming by "Peaky Blinders"!😊
