This video was the funniest I've ever watched Jeff! especially towards the end.I'm experiencing the same.Everyone doing nothing.Defenders always getting cought.opponents with crazy defending.i can't get over this!not forgetting the crazy auto switch
Tried to participate in that Glory Plate Game, and I always lose a lot of matches since I matched with people with higher levels. To be honest, they should fixed their matchmaking by placing players with the same level as other players to make fairness for the others participating in that event.
Exactly, I have only been playing for about a month and I don’t spend money on the game so my squad has like an 80 rated, a 70 rated and the rest are commons. Yet, I keep getting matched with teams that have like all legendary for example their squad is like, Haaland, Salah, Neymar Jr, Modric, Mbappe, Messi, Dembele, Allison, Ronaldo, Valverde. I could go on. And I’m always just desperately trying to get a point and not making much progress.

Dreamy league
When defending against a kick off, don't press the player who has the ball. He will just wait for you to get close before orchestrating the final through pass to the open striker. Instead focus on the striker's movement and attempt to cut of the passing lane by tracking him down with the player you are controlling. Sometimes, I fake a press early on in case the opponent decides to go all the way and shoot from distance.
If you press a player before the final pass it opens up space in your defence for the striker to run into and overtake your final defender or just shoot from before you switch to the closest defender. You'd rather run backwards or track the striker in anticipation of the final pass so that your defender catches up and makes the tackle in the few seconds it takes for the striker to receive and control the ball and begin accelerating. Alternatively, you can switch to the defender closest to the striker before the final pass (if the game gives you that option).
This is not a fool-proof solution though as the opponent, if smart enough, can decide to change tactic to mess with your head and choose to hold on to the ball longer before making the final pass to entice you to make a press. So it's a lot of mind games and anticipation based on patterns in the game!
I like this more than the ones where you need 4 wins and you have 1 life. It's so difficult to do it when everyone playing it has a max team

I LOVE THIS VIDEO. I dont really watch ur vids Jeff but i find u hillarious and i just had to comment because i have the same reactions as you. We both love DLS despite the gameplay issues - a love and hate relationship but at the end of the day we love DLS and it has a special place in our hearts
I've been playing the game for as long as you have, I used to play on my ipad and I maxed everyone on my team to 100. I now play on my android phone and im still grinding to get max players. I dont buy any gems or money im a 100% grind player
Keep up with ur vids man! Also just a suggestion, try to practice maintaining ball possession while still being able to make plays. I normally score 6-10 goals in DLS mycareer but the possession rate would be on the side of the AI. Now i focus on maintaining ball possession, making the right plays and finding the best shot possible

Hey so the key to like defending corners is like when the ball comes into the box tilt your cursor sideways not backwards if you do that you will clear most corners against you.
When you many chances and you score 1 but then the opponent gets 1 chance and ties the game worst feeling ever

Okay, i see a lot of yall are struggling with winning DLS live matches.
Here is a quick tip.
When training your players, max them with fitness only. Then make sure you have very tall CB for scoring and defending corners, VVD, Saliba, Botman, Bastoni/Araujo male sure they are taller than 192.
When it comes to game play, maintain a ball possession above 80%, play tikitaka going forward. Play with a 3 upfront, i recommended Junior Haaland and Mbappe.
That should help.
One thing that helps a lot is using ball camera angle instead. It’s easier to score long shots
Won my matches in Glory Plate easily up to 42 points. But just getting the last 3 points was hell.

Ngl picking player with C button is big problem in DLS bcs everytime i trying to get someone to defend on corner or just simple rush i get someone in mdifield lmao..

I played 45 matches in this event, and it was torture
i played 38 games with all gold players but without any upgrade, i always was against players that C spam everytime with maxed players. I got like 2 goal and 8 shot on target while they got 4 shots and 4 goals (and spamming emoji everytime i failed a goal or when they scored). I lost my sanity for this challenge 😭

1-you must have tall midlefeilders in your team
2-you also should change your style of play
3-always play the corner with "A" instead of "C" and shot the corner with "B"
4-chang your formation 433 is bad i recommend 4 1 3 2&play every player in their position and and remember you shold have players taller than 183 especially the rb and the lb i recommend you to get theo Hernandez and meunir rare player
5-have mbappe and haaland as super sub

@@reekydml3693 because it will help you defend corners winning more headers and thats something you might not know that tall players have the advantage in physical contact and can reach the ball faster than the short player but also you need to upgrade the player in a style you want.

Its useless be ause if you winn you can only get 3 points and around 70 coins and you have to win 15 matches than you can get a legendary card and 1000 coins so it doesnt even make sense because if you want coin than play career natch and get 200+ plus coin after every win
