This is proof that just because he’s trombone 3 it doesn’t make it worse then 1 and 2. Elliot is a monster

Isn’t he trombone 2. He sometimes plays first when Vincent isn’t around

@@its_thabani technically speaking in a professional jazz band the roles switch up constantly, but in JCLO they give the parts out based on seniority, who has been in the band the longest, I believe that order is Vincent, Chris, and then Elliot. Maybe I am wrong though.

@@upsidedownpyramid7617when I was up there for a competition I was in a master class with a saxophonist who writes some of the charts and does some of their education stuff. He said he writes parts based on who they thing will convey whatever their trying to on that particular song. For example he wrote a chart for Invisible Woman and he said he thought Mr. Crenshaw would study the origional and go for what he was looking for the most, so he wrote it in his part. Sorry for the lengthy explanation lol

So we all know that Elliot killed it but props to Obed on the drums. That man kept the tempo on lock

William Alonzo and Cat Anderson are not two separate people but *one* and the same: William Alonzo "Cat" Anderson.

Feels weird looking at them play jazz reading a score.
That aside, great performance guys. It's my first time seeing a trombone played like this, that's amazing.
    Thanks a lot.
