Cereal companies have perpetuated a big myth about breakfast: that the first meal of the day is crucial to good health. And one of their most long-lasting claims is that breakfast is a good strategy for weight loss. Turns out, a closer look at the science suggests that may not be the case. We trace the origins of this myth, and the long history of breakfast companies making dubious health claims.

What is a corn flake? How is it made?
First, the kernels of corn are soaked in lye. Lye is a caustic, corrosive substance that will burn skin off your body. It's used in making rayon, soaps, and-breakfast cereals.
After the soaking, the kernels are blasted by live steam. Then a flavoring syrup full of mostly white sugar is poured over the soaked and steamed corn.
Next, the kernels are dried until they're hard. Then they're run through huge rollers that press down with 75 tons of pressure to flatten them out. Now they're ready to be toasted, heated and flaked one more time. Then they get their last dosing of preservatives, additives and chemicals and are packaged up in a brightly colored box with a picture of an athlete, animal, or cartoon character on the front.
Originally you had a grain of corn, fairly rich in protein, phosphorus, Vitamin A, and the three major B vitamins. Now you've got a sugar-frosted flake that has no original vitamins, few minerals, and an altered protein that is harmful to the body. What's more, you're probably paying five to ten times as much for this processed, denatured food than you would if you had just bought the original whole grain

I always apreciate the effort to communicate scientific findings to a wider audience.
Sadly the conclusions made in this video are definetly not based on actual scientific findings.
I undestand that necessary simplifications have to be made, but here I am confident that these studies were intentionally selectively quoted and their meaning purposefully altered to fit the narrative that is to be told here.
From "Breakfast does not help you to loose weight" you jump to: "Breakfast has no benefits" (compare 2:42)
Your first source specifically states that weight loss might not occur because of breakfast consumption.
    "This review questions the
recommendation for breakfast consumption in guidelines aimed at weight loss in adults" (Quote from Study)
    The same study states:
    "Although eating breakfast
regularly could have other important effects, such as improved concentration and attentiveness levels in childhood"
At 2:33 this quote is briefly visible in the video. From that i have to conclude that you know exactly that you are misrepresenting the findings.
Since there is a wide range of circumstantial effects and correlation at play studies considering our eating habits are especially tricky. That is a fact well known by people working in the field (researchers too!).
Here you are maliciously misrepresenting these studies.
There is a difference in telling an opinion and acting like your message is grounded in science.
After beeing a long-time viewer of your content i stopped following you quite a while ago because of similar reasons. It is saddening to come back after a long timeseeing this.
All studies are linked below their video.

I found that a lot of study on whether breakfast affects concentration usually don't take into account whether they regularly eat breakfast or not, and make breakfast eaters skip it, or vice versa. I'm a breakfast skipper, if I eat breakfast it makes me feel uncomfortable and bloated - I don't feel hungry until nearer to lunch time. If I was a breakfast eater, of course skipping it would make me hungry and have poorer concentration. The main point in this video seems to be just carry on what you feel best suited for you. It actually wasn't kellog himself who made the cornflakes. They were only named after his adopted son to get popularity. Also, they gave people tons of enemas and made you chew 20 times in there. There's a whole movie about it. There was also some rumors about the adopted son being autistic in later years. Mainly because of the way he behaved.

A ton of people are saying that.
What kind of study would you design that measures "importantness" or "healthiness". Life expectancy? Good luck funding that 40 year of follow up study.
If you make the claim that it's the most important meal out of thin air, then the burden of demonstrating that it is rests on you. If you can't design an experiment to tests "importantness" then your claim is pseudoscience.
