Great info, I missed two bucks, 1 high and one low. Once I heard you say what happened to your friend it all made sense on why I missed low. Both of them, I had the pin exactly where I wanted to impact the deer, were mine and I thinking about where they were going to run. I watched the first arrow sail and the other one fall. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I know the low one (now) had to be bc I wasn’t vertical and touched clothing perhaps? The high one has to be opened hips??? Or clothing? Maybe just inexperienced archery lol thanks for the tips btw I got a 3rd chance and cashed in and wow first deer with a bow; and in a saddle (first yr also). What a feeling. So much different than with a rifle. Keep the tips coming for the newbie’s lol.

Good tips! I missed a doe two weeks ago. I didn't have a lighted nock and it was near dusk, so I don't know if I missed high or low. I really should have passed on the shot (40 yards) with how dark it was getting.
