I have this sling and my opinion is the "reverse" tightening direction is a deal breaker. Yes its cool that it can be a 1 point or two point but it is very difficult to continually manage sling tension on your rifle. I would look for a sling that tightens when you pull the tab/loop towards the forend of the gun.

I’ve got this sling quite like it tbh bought it before I found this video you’d think the Amazon sellers would list that it’s convertible to single point but they don’t list it

This sling really needs a section of bungee so you have more give when maneuvering the rifle.

Ebay has the Magpul MS4 Gen 2 sling (MAG518) for $19.99 and free shipping. They show the original Magpul package in the pics. I ordered one yesterday, we'll see if I get a Magpul or a Magfool in a few days. I'm optimistic because of all pictures, Item description and 4.9% reviews. If I get lucky, it's a bargain compared to Optics Planet at $61.70 along with all other run of the mill gear shops.

UTG makes a nice looking QD mount 2 point/1point sling for $40 on Optics Planet called the Bolla. I have had good luck with UTG in the past. Anyone have any experience with this Bolla sling from UTG?

I think you're installing it wrong. Firstly, your mount on the rear is on the wrong side of the gun. You installed on the left side of the gun. It should be on right. That way, it does not interfere with the shoulder when aiming. Finally, the buckle side of the strap should be mounted to the front, not the back of the gun. By doing this, you reverse the strap tightening position and functions like the other sling.

The mount can be anywhere that you prefer, the sling is hook correctly if you the buckle where it becomes 1 point in the front of the rifle then it beats the purpose and can’t sling the rifle from the hand guard with one point!

@Carolina EDC reviews Near the end of the video, you're looking at the sling, asking yourself if you can reverse it somehow. It's clear if you mount correctly, the sling tightens and loosens as it should.
Common sense, really!
