- The Harding University Bisons demonstrated a powerful offense in their game against the Colorado School of Mines, culminating in a decisive 38-7 victory. This performance is especially notable considering Harding's record-breaking season, where they became the first team in college football history to rush for over 6,000 yards. Their commanding offense, highlighted by a ground game that proved unstoppable for the Colorado School of Mines' defense, played a pivotal role in securing Harding's first NCAA Division II Football Championship. This victory not only showcased Harding's offensive prowess but also marked a historic achievement for the program.
Saw a whole lot of new wrinkles I'm excited to dig into. Hope you guys enjoy.

I love that mid triple with the opposite orbit motion. Great play
Assuming that’s just vs cover 0?
The game against LR in the semis was even better ❤ you should do that one too
So dope. Those pitches and toss sweeps are gnarly.
Great vid, thanks!
Flexbone is always a great offense 👍
Scary part is there QB and all starting RB's return
By scary you mean awesome…right?
@@Flexbone101 By scary I mean they could actually be better next year both offensively and defensively.
Can you make a playlist for this team like you have for army Navy and golden state or update those love your channel Ive watch maybe 80% of the content
Are you still coaching I even liked watching your lower level play calling playlist add another season plz
Have a playlist made and will break down a few more games I have tape for. Have some changes in the coaching realm so stay tuned there
I love the way these guys play. None of the stupid gimmick shit that Air Force does
It was refreshing to see a more traditional option attack (easier to tag too). I'll give AF a little credit that their doing it at the FBS level so they're going against better competition/schemes
@@Flexbone101could this offense work in the NFL?
@@johnwalker6393 Yes but they would have to throw the ball more. At least 20 times a game
@@johnwalker6393 I think this could 100% work at the NFL level. BUT…
It would have to be a MASSIVE commitment. You would need to completely revolve your organization around it.
Sidebar but stay with me here: When Tebow mania was a thing in Denver, one of the only valid criticisms I heard about the system they were running came from a player from the Detroit lions 90’s era run and shoot experiment. (I don’t remember the player) He said that when they adopted the system, the entire roster had to be overhauled. Then when the front office decided to go back to traditional pro style, the roster had to be overhauled once again. It set the franchise back for years trying to revamp. The criticism about embracing the Tebow system was that it would cause a similar effect. Denver decided to ditch after not even a full year because they didn’t want to go down that road.
Back to the Flexbone: it’s the same scenario. Similar to Georgia Tech moving away from the system. It was UGLY coming out of it because the old guard had to be fazed out and the same thing that made GT great also made them suck for years after it was gone.
NFL teams basically just try to find a franchise QB and build around him. That’s the blueprint everyone follows.
Honestly, it’s boring and I wish we had more variance. Especially at the FBS level. Why middling teams don’t go outside the box is beyond me. Teams like Arkansas, Kentucky, Vandy, Nebraska, etc will never compete with the powerhouses like Bama and Ohio state if they try to play like them. Texas tech figured this out with Mike Leach and it brought them crazy success.
Problem is, every team is kinda right to think like this especially in the NFL. They are just one Patty Mahomes away from being a dynasty so it incentivizes this cycle of mediocrity and tanking. Houston now looks poised to make some noise, the Jags were elated to get Lawrence and so on.
“If we act like the Yankees in here we will lose to the Yankees out there”
@flexbone101
Coach, can you do a 101 video on that “Slice” play? It looks like power.
Thank you!
I think that's what I've heard it called - It's essentially Zone Dive but with a pin and pull between the OT and the OG. I wanted to differentiate it and not just call it ZD. I'll take a look and see if I can notice any other rules/differences
It's just belly G without a TE is it not?
Is there a difference between Belly Down G and Slice? Just looks similar to me.@@Flexbone101
Wing T Belly play with cross block
Coaches could this offense work in the NFL?
No
why not
@@johnwalker6393 …bigger, stronger, faster.
