- I was gifted the TamagoChu (恋するたまごっちゅ) set during Christmas and finally got to try them out after having these on my wish list for years!
There's very limited information about these tamagotchis on the Internet - when you Google 'TamagoChu', the search engine would sometimes register your search as a typo and change your search to 'Tamagotchi' instead! 😅 So I thought I'd make a video documenting my experience with them from start to finish!

Good morning guys would it be interesting if we had a tamagotchi connection remake? All of the Tama fans are emailing Bandai America to get these rereleased or even remade with aspects of the on like a back lit screen. The connections are a whole lot of fun and they even allow your tama to go to pre school, school gets a job and evolves based upon care and their attributes! It would be also cool if somehow they brought back tama town but an app version of course free but, micro payments can be in the game for certain characters or energy points for your tama to play in tama town. Bandai have been paying attention to our emails, and they have been very responsive. If we all email them and let them know maybe we can get a rerelease or even better a revamped version.
Hmm.. nice idea but I dont think they're coming back anytime. The tamagotchi Uni will most likely be about school and will DEFINITELY be able to connect. Hopefully its a more modern version of the connection.

Yay new Tamagotchi video! The TamagoChus are so cute! I wonder if getting different characters are just purely up to chance, or are there certain conditions you'll need to meet in order to get different characters? When you were sharing how online information said 2 weeks to mature to oldies while in reality it was 4 weeks for you, I absolutely understood how you feel! Previously I read that the matchmaker would keep coming on my V4 up till 9 years old, but my Togetchi became an Oldie at 8 years old 💀 Since I only had 1 V4 the Oldie eventually died alone and I had to restart my whole gameplay 😓
Another time was the discrepancy on how to get Mame lineage, where one of the condition is that the tamagotchi must be at its minimum weight before it evolves. Overweight tamagotchis would just evolve into the other groups. And if the tamagotchi doesn't have the minimum 100 points in any of the skill categories, it would evolve into a Universal group 😑 I wish there were active discussion groups, coz most of the discussion I see are on newer models 😢
Oh I totally understand how you feel!! Sometimes I really have to figure things out myself - glad I could share some useful info in this video from my own experience!
I also had the same experience as you waiting for the matchmaker! You could try asking in some collector Facebook groups for more info, as many of them are still active players and may have useful info for you :)
I started collecting Tamagotchis about a year ago, I only was able to collect 4 Tamagotchis and I lost interest. Watching your videos is making me want to collect again!
Maybe start with the Tamagotchi Smart! There are a couple really exciting releases coming this year and you can still get the Smart at RRP 😊

They must be really rare because I can't find any listings about them online after seeing how adorable they are in your video I wanted to add a set to my collection (29 strong, currently running 6)
They are more commonly found in Japan but I have seen them on eBay before! Don’t give up!! They’re really worth investing in, I really enjoyed running them.
I love this video! It was great to see since you're right, there is not a lot of info on these tamas online. I remember when the tamagochus came out in 2007 I dreamed of being able to run them with my future boyfriend one day lol. Now I'm much older and have a boyfriend but still need to get the tamagochus haha

What are your favorite Tamagotchi's, Gameplay and design-wise?
I love the Meets and M!x for gameplay, since it is very easy to keep alive and the characters you get in each generation is a surprise! Shell design wise I will always love the OG black and white tamagotchi shells - the Familitchi and Royal Familitchi shells are all to die for!
I love those tamagotchi videos you made. I feel so nostalgic about them. I recently bought two in a shop as they are bringing the first originals back in stores here. I find it very hard to find tamagotchi connections like the one I had as a teen, would you have any website adresse I could find them, I simply want 2 tamagotchi connections ones just so I can play with my little sister that is nearly 6 years old. As I kinda set the trend back with my little siblings while talking about it to them. Any little suggestions would be of a great help!!! Thank you in advance!

I found the same one I had when I was about 9, I bought it and it is SOOO CUTE! So I bought an other one to pair it with but it is in Japanese, a Keitai generation and my other one is a V3 English. Do you know how to connect them together? Or is it even possible? I have photos if needed. 😊
