    This is part of my Liquid Terrain series/sets. If you missed how to make the Flowing Lava Sets here is a link to that video: czcams.com/video/FcXyLzH2bbs/video.html

      Thanks 👍 ... I'm trying hard to get high quality videos up weekly now. That's the goal at least.

      I think that was the funnest one to make.

    Have you started that next room in your dungeon yet? Looking forward to the next vids!

      It's coming for sure. The holidays slowed me down on the dungeon a bit but I will have the next video soon. If not next week, then the week after that.

    Nice work. The resin ones look the best but even the easy version looks great. I have worked a bit with two-part resin but never clear, so the tip on using the lighter is good to know.

    • @ArtJeremiah
      @ArtJeremiah  Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks! Yeah the lighter really helps.

    Super well done, as ever. I'm still lovin' those bubbles. I can definitely see adding various pools to my adventures, in future. Your video production expertise is really looking great, as well

    • @ArtJeremiah
      @ArtJeremiah  Před 3 lety +1

      I appreciate it! Yeah I am way happy with the bubbles. And its cheap best of all. And I'm trying with the video production... Slowly but surely learning.

      @@ArtJeremiah It's looking good. I really like the "floating" materials needed. the colour option filters are pretty spiff, as well

    Nice work. I think I like the cheap and simple version best, probably for the same nostalgic reasons you have. All three came out looking good though.

    One other option would be to use foamcore, cut it to shape, peel the top, bevel the edges, and then work from the center outwards with the nailpolish remover, acetone, or other foam melting options to create the pool itself. Then work from there. I'd use a slightly thicker gloss pour for the actual "liquid"
    This would keep it flatter for use, and by leaving the paper on the underside, you don't have to deal with balance issues with it and less potential warping issues.

    • @ArtJeremiah
      @ArtJeremiah  Před 3 lety

      Yes, that sounds like another great idea. Probably would work better with the foamboard that peels off easy. Thanks for sharing.

    On the resin drying, it's an exothermic reaction. The thicker it is the hotter gets and faster it dries.

    You deleted my comment! [Runs away sobbing dramatically] :P
    Didn't expect to be named in a video, nice! Also it makes sense, even though i have zero need for them right now i'm now tempted to make little paintings :D
    As for this build, one cheat i've seen to make it easier and quicker is to use cheap fake pearls for the bubbles, you can get like a hundred for a couple of bucks or something, and they look good enough. They'd end exactly the same though, no variation, so maybe adding one or two of the hot glue ones would be good.
    Nice build in general! I'd be tempted to scavenge a skeleton mini and drop it in the pool though :D

    • @ArtJeremiah
      @ArtJeremiah  Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks man! Yeah, I was tempted to throw in a skeleton. Probably should have. Anyways, thanks for the tip. You should check out my secret link in the description, I actually found some various sized glass beads that would work well with what you are talking about.
