    Update info on the Kenissi movements: I discovered these movements, the Kenissi movements, are sold to other watch manufacturers such as Chanel, Breitling, Norqain, TAG Heuer, Fortis, and more to come. I've heard that Channel partially owns the movement manufacture, whereas Tudor owns the other half. I'm not sure whether that is true or not. Regardless, they're great movements, and are a step above the ETA movements Tudor has used for decades.

      Stuff like that happens to all analog watches regardless of price, man. If you have your warranty card, Tudor will take care of you. Your AD even may give you a new one in exchange for your faulty one. If you don’t want to deal with things like this, opt for digital G-Shocks or smart watches, because they’re practically fail safe.

      @@RabbitWatchShop The "if you care about quality, don't buy a mechanical watch" argument isn't fair. This is a $4000 watch from a brand that overtly markets its products as highly durable tools for extreme conditions that are tested "to the point of obsession" and we should hold them accountable to their claims, not make excuses for sloppy assembly and bad QC. This isn't something that happens to all analog watches regardless of price and enough Tudor owners have reported similar problems, including misaligned bezels, sloppy lume application, and offset 12 o'clock bezel pips, that it's clear that Tudor has some manufacturing issues to address. This community goes nuts over $300 Seikos if the bezel is off by quarter-millimeter and we should hold watches costing more than ten times more to at least the same standard.

      The Hebrew translates into English as Let There Be Light, or Latin, Fiat Lux. I am Jewish. The motto Let There Be Light, which is a reference from the old testament to the Christians, and the Torah for us Jews, comes from Genesis. Let There Be Light is also used by esoteric fraternities and the mysteries. I love rabbits. Esoterically, rabbits symbolize time. Hence Rabbit Watch Shop.

      @@TruSyphonFilterz Clearly, you’re commenting some antisemitic dribble on my channel because I’m Jewish. But I know Christian scripture better than you, because you’re misusing scripture to bash today’s Jews.
      Here’s a fact about Jesus: Jesus is talking about specific groups of Jews that existed during his time on earth. Precisely, Jesus is talking about the scribes and Pharisees. Why? They had absorbent wealth. And they were dabbling in black magic that learned from the occultists of Babylon. Jesus was not talking about all Jewish people of that time. He actually was for the poor Jewish man, woman, and child that correctly observed the old convenient that is the Torah.
      Now that is clear, don’t misuse scripture to bash today’s Jews. Jews have done so much for your people, the black race, in terms of civil rights and protection. Don’t forget who marched with Martin Luther King. That’s right, JEWISH people marched with MLK to oppose white racism.

    I like the look of a diver’s watch but that rotating bezel is only useful if you actually use it for diving. To me, it looks a bit silly considering that the watch is too expensive for a real diver to risk using it for work. It is like driving a Ferrari in a 30 mph speed zone, expensive and flashy and beautifully made but no more useful than a cheap car.

    • @RabbitWatchShop
      @RabbitWatchShop  Před 10 měsíci +3

      I understand your points; however, us dive watch lovers mainly buy them for their ruggedness, high water resistance, and of course the looks. The bezel can actually be used as a timer. I sometimes use the bezel, for example, to time things I am cooking.
      Majority of certified professional divers will only use a traditional, obsolete dive watch as a backup to their dive computers; they’ll usually use a ISO certified Seiko or Casio Frogman. When professional divers take Rolex and Tudor on their dives, they take them to photograph and take video of them, or to simply enjoy them while they have a dive computer.
      I personally wouldn’t care about traditional watches if divers didn’t exist. I’d just wear an Apple Watch or G-Shock. And I’d definitely prefer a frogman or dive computer during dives. Lume is difficult to see under water, even when the watch has great lume.

      @@RabbitWatchShop I really recommend the Seiko SRPE series, I have the one with the very deep royal blue dial. As everybody says though, the bracelets they come with are not quite up to the high quality of the watch.
      Do you see new Tudor watches as a good investment? I imagine that you would get most of the money back if you sell it, maybe even make a profit? I think that these Seikos will always find buyers but I doubt that they will increase in value.

    • @RabbitWatchShop
      @RabbitWatchShop  Před 10 měsíci +1

      @@majordendrocopos I don’t see Tudor as investment watches. The modern models rarely increase in value. The only model that has is the discontinued Black Bay Heritage 41 with the ETA movement and rose brand dial. Most Black Bays, including the wildly popular BB58 series, takes a bit of a hit on the gray market. I’ve seen blue BB58s for as little as $2,500, when they originally cost about $4k. But that’s on the rare low end without a bracelet. Vintage and neo-vintage Tudors, especially the Submariners, are continuing to increase in value. That’s the only Tudors that I consider investment pieces.
      I personally don’t buy any watch as an investment. I sometimes buy watches and resale them for higher prices, especially hot hard-to-acquire models.
