Life lessons come to you in many places. Stay aware, because there is a lot of love and knowledge to be had, to pick up and carry with you. If you have not read it, pick up a copy of "The Little Prince". if you love this song, I think that children's story will resonate with you. Bless you!

I love hearing Sinead O’Connor sing Irish music. The purity of her voice, and her willingness to completely immerse herself in the emotions of a song, make her one of my all time favourites. I wish her all the Peace she couldn’t find here, and that she be surrounded by the Love that heals us all. Thank you for sharing your gift with us.🕊️🦢👼🏻🫶🏼

Well, Sinead was a great artist with a deep, honest, caring soul. But like many openminded, warm Whites, she fell for the rootlessness that infringed our sense of identity. Her passing and late suffering is a result of the lack of belonging while chasing for "individual freedom", which is actually isolation from who we are as part of our people, family and heritage.

Music beyond time and all calculation. the music of, as Yeats said, eternal beauty wandering on her way. God grant her peace;Christ grant her mercy. May she sing forever in this way. As girl back in the 90’ s, a teenager, she represented all I wanted to embrace: authenticity, honesty, integrity, against all cliches and, most importantly, against what the main Stream wanted us to be, and what it wanted us to believe. I saw in her rebellious nature my rebellious nature. I am so so sad she is no longer here to keep us grounded with their music and her spirited , brilliant intelligence. Well tonight i have had a night dedicated to a beautiful woman. Watching tv interviews and duets with fellow musicians. I have shed many a tear at the loss of such a talented woman. I hope she is at peace with her mother and son. RIP

Remarkable soul. A woman who like us all was complicated. However, she spoke truth and received disdane but always vindicated later. May she rest in peace.

Your hills and dales and flowery vales
That lie near the Moorlough Shore
Your vines that blow by borden's grove
Will I ever see you more
    Where the primrose blows
    And the violet grows
Where the trout and salmon play
With the line and hook, delight I took
    To spend my youthful days
Last night I went to see my love
And to hear what she might say
To see if she'd take pity on me
    Lest I might go away
She said, "I love that Irish lad
And he was my only joy
And ever since I saw his face
    I've loved that soldier boy."
Perhaps your soldier lad is lost
Sailing over the sea of Maine
Or perhaps he is gone with some other lover
You may never see him again
Well if my Irish lad is lost
He's the one I do adore
And seven years I will wait for him
By the banks of the Moorlough Shore
    Farewell to Sinclaire's castle grand
    Farewell to the foggy hill
Where the linen waves like bleach-ed silk
And the banching stream runs still
Near there I spent my youthful days
But alas they are not now mine
    For cruelty has banished me
Far away from the Moorlough Shore

But of course she wrote and sang so many other GREAT, own! composed, witnessed and suffered, beautiful songs, which told us about her tragic Life❣️💔❤️ May God rest her beautiful soul in Eternal Heavenly Peace! 🙏💖 And her beloved son ❤ and all her beloved children here... Sinéad will live on forever!!! ✨🌌💖

It is so hard to comprehend that she's not here any more. But her etherial voice lives on forever and will be with me until I won't be here either. She will live on though way after that event. She is imo so much an Irish performer and always will be. From a close Celtic relative just across the water. Beautiful.
