      ive been watching nba ball since the late 60s and the recent and possibly current warriors is the best ball i have ever seen.. in terms of the entertainment and quality of team ball , i don't think durant added to that. he was sort of an opposing force, but such a great scorer that it didnt matter. . , ..

Far from those accomplishments. What did he do when he went back to the Lakers? He took the opportunity to rewrite his narrative and now he is seen fsr from the problem child but a fun hard working future HOF.

      True. I remember watching games before KD around 2014-2016 and just being in awe by the ball movement and overall team effort. I don’t recall what game it was but I also remember when the starters weren’t playing well and basically the entire bench stepped up big and probably out scored the starters. Was super excited for guys like Brandon Rush and James Michael Macadoo when they shined.

      @@fbgm3818 So true. Their ball movement was better compared to when Kevin Durant came. I felt the change in their ball movement when KD started playing prolly because of his ISO plays. The warriors with KD is still good though, but I like them better with good ball movement

    Dude played like 10-15mins only per game in GS but he played every minute hard, such a big difference when in a winning organization the players do what it takes to win.

      it was due to his asthma that Warriors managed his minutes so hard, not cause he couldnt play.. the organisation put his health over quick success which most teams wouldnt even consider

    I remember before we signed him nobody wanted to sign him. We signed him in the beginning of the season because we lacked the position. I honestly didn’t see him as a good acquisition at the time but he definitely made those most of it. After those yrs with us, I felt it rejuvenated his career, and it extended his yrs in the league.

    Its not simply just going to Golden State and everything was automatic. He needed to play in way that was beneficial to their scheme so they worked on his mental game to eliminate bad decisions. His first year, he had a lot of bad habits but as the season progressed, he was putting in productive minutes. After the second season, he became a much better defensive player and smarter offensive game. That’s why GS could no longer afford his price tag, his market value in the NBA went up.

      facts, thats what i thought he would talk about... Jevale at Warriors vs early in his career and 2 different players...
      Warriors help develop players ability to read the game and get to where they need to be to help the team win... i remember Lebron talking about how some NBA players dont know how to play the game but they stuff the stat sheet... Russ OKC during KD's time vs triple double Russ are 2 different players, and im a fan of OKC Russ, TD Russ im no fan at all, he gave up his basketball IQ for quick success and its the same for a lot of other players... just look at how Wiggins was getting points at Wolves and how he gets them at the Warriors, you wouldnt think they were the same player lol

    Javale matured a lot from back when he was on the Nuggets. It just shows how important environment and culture are towards shaping a person's life. That being said, Javale also took advantage of the opportunity, so big ups for him.

    steph then did not just change the game in terms of the 3 point shot but the whole concept of the organization, the team in regards to winning championships. with out steph, and klay and draymond this would have never come to be. but steph was the only real necessity in that happened and what has come to be .

      yep, Joe Lacob had an interview on this point... he talk about how being a young owner he learned a lot from Jerry West before he left to help Clipper become a title winner, Jerry today him to talk with his main star to see what type of organisation will get him to a title win, this was 2013 when Warriors front office was discussing trading Curry or Klay for Kervin Love i think and West backed keeping Klay and Steph together to create the leagues best shooting back-court in history of the league, so Warriors hadn't even won a title yet, and Lacob sat down and had a 6-8 hour talk with Curry on how the team and organisation to work together and all that, thats when all this started really, Mark got fired cause of the LGBQT community and his comments about it, than Kerr got hired in 2015 and Kerr and his coaching staff adopted the coaching system Mark had and set in the new Curry system we see today with Curry playing more off ball and the ball bing moved around which Kerr learned from Pop and how Pop used Parker lol...
      thats why Joe Lacob calls Curry the spiritual leader of the team cause it was that talk back than that started all this

    JaVale McGee one of my favorite NBA players! i was so glad GSW chose him. GSW brought him in and took care of him as family and told the NBA world about his basketball IQ as well! They appreciated him. It warms my heart-- McGee is having a GREAT NBA career and is an 3x NBA champion! 🏆🏆🏆 i pray the very BEST for you J McGee!

    Watching Javale just get WRECKED on “Shaqtin’ A Fool” made me feel bad for him.
    I had a feeling that when GSW picked him up, there would be a shift in his career. So glad that I was right!!!

    At 64 yrs old going on 65, I have seen a lot of great basketball players in my lifetime. Javale is one of my all time favorite players ever and missed him a whole lot when he wasn't in GS. So glad to know he's back in town.

    His time with the NBA was going down the tubes compliment of Shaq. He went to Warriors and Bless that organization turned his life around. He was constantly humiliated by Shaq.       Blaming it on Shaq is ridiculous. If Shaqtin didn't even exist, nothing about Javale's career would've changed. He was viewed as an underachiever who was very athletic, but was prone to mental blunders. That rep was well earned. Shaqtin just showcased it for laughs. Maybe he should've handled it with class?

      @@emomagica tbh, most role players play their best ball in golden state but in limited minutes. Golden state is a well oiled machine when they’re winning. When you go to golden state, you have a certain role and they’ll give you the resources to thrive in that role.

    Love Javale McGee… he played with energy. He brought it every game even though he only played a few minutes each quarter. Was a valuable piece to the championship teams.

    I love this guy. When players do things outside their range it isn't good. This was McGee before Golden State. At GS they had the discipline and focused players on perfecting a role. This is how players shine. Imagine if Curry played defense in the post. He'd get dunked on all the time and look foolish. McGee tried to be things he wasn't before GS and looked foolish.

      With Kerr as coach, BobGod being a former college player, and many other key pieces being hoopers...with Lacob being the 'you'll get the money you need to get the results I want" pragmatic venture capitalist...and with Steph being this kind, humble, decent man by all accounts, I'm not surprised they pull out all the stops to keep players happy. The only guy I've ever heard of since Lacob took over who was not satisfied there--somehow--was Pat McCaw. And I have zero clue and less than zero care why.

    I miss JaVale. I was thrilled when the Warriors first got him because every time we faced him in Denver, he ALWAYS was a huge thorn in our side. The guy seemed to play like an all-star against us. I hope he returns at some point.

    Still til this day, the Warriors have that championship mindset. The front office doing good with their draft picks and still have Curry, Dray, Klay and Iggy to follow behind. Warriors could do it this year if Klay is 100 and Wiseman matures faster.. Just know Warriors will be top 3 out the West

    Centers like Javale and Dwight are extremely under rated at how much they contribute to championship teams. Not to many players play or even try to do effective defence.
