Switched to super bright led lights...and use a three sided cardboard display. Put my card on a plastic stand with a custom made stand with my store name on it. I take pics of front, back, sides and corners. For chrome cards to keep my hands, face etc out of the reflection is I cut a hole in a piece of cardboard and put my phone camera to the hole and take the pic through the hole, or I just angle the card in a way that my reflection or no reflections are seen. Also avoid shadowing. Shadows in the pic look sloppy.

Really good tips, I love the whole in the cardboard one, I have seen that before and it works great

Loved this....I had the same problems you addressed. Looking for a way to take pictures of a card standing up, but with no stand edges. Haven't found anything yet. Any tips on camera settings?

I know next to nothing about camera settings and I just use my phone on square settings.

Hi - Thanks for this Video on how to take photos of Sports Cards - Question - Can you go over how to avoid getting reflections on the photos of Chrome Cards? I try to angle them, but is there any better way to get Clean Photos of Chrome Baseball cards? Thanks again for this Video . Have a good day. Barry

It can definitely take some getting used to, I usually slide the card forward as far as I can in the light box and use a stand. I sometimes use a piece of cardboard with a lense hole cut out for my phone so you can't see my hands in the reflection

Can you recommend a photo light box that hopefully isn't too expensive. Thanks, Barry

It absolutely drives me crazy when i see people holding the card in their hand in the picture, especially if the card isnt in a sleeve etc
