If Season 4 was the intended ending for Enterprise, this would've a damn good finale. Before the solidified formation of the United Federation of Planets, they defeated Humanity's demons and thus opened the doorway to the greatest age of Earth's history, into the infinity known as space, the Final Frontier.
“These Are The Voyages” was the most unnecessary episode in all of Star Trek. Terra Prime is the real final to Enterprise.
Yeah I think even the writers have said they consider Terraa Prime the finale and "These Are The Voyages" as more of a coda

He really does a good job of sounding like he's from the Mirror Universe. If not for the Mirror Universe episode, I might have assumed this was a possible divergence point that spawned the Terran Empire.

The show only showed one cannon, but it's called an array because the writers envisioned it as a huge network of cannons all over the planet. They thought about this more than you might think....for example, it's a "verteron" array, where verterons are implied to be FTL, because they realized their original idea, a laser system, wouldn't be able to reach other planets or ships in a timely manner for the show's purposes.

I think that the point is that T'Pol knows the baby is hers and Trip's and that they are going to do anything to save her from this maniac. Through a bond-probably by her touch with the baby, T'Pol, holds her and introduces herself as her mother and tells her she'll give her a name-and includes Trip as her father. Did we ever envision this aloof, "stick in the mud" science officer or Trellium D addicted first officer being a caring mother who was devastated when Elizabeth died? That's the greatest thing about T'Pol. She either had in her all along to change or changed due to how she felt accepted by others. Maybe V'Lar's influence rubbed off on her more than she realised. Except for the novels, we lost that possible outcome of her as a mother when the programme was cancelled.
Just because most Vulcans would not wear their devastation on their faces, does NOT follow that a Vulcan parent would not feel the loss of a child. I am sure that most Humans forget that Vulcan emotions run deeper and more intense than Human emotions.

Just imagine if there are some aliens who are like "King Leopard" of Congo? If that race has a warp drive and we don't...Could be looking at a Base Delta Zero for the entire planet.
I think religious people would be the least of our worries if aliens do turn out to be anything but friendly. It will ultimately depend on how aliens behave towards us. If they attack us outright when we did nothing to them (think War of the Worlds), you can bet most/all of Humanity will not be tolerable towards aliens. Even if an alien race comes along later and really did have peaceful intentions, we'd be too traumatized by the attack on our world and species to trust them.
I read a post from a website that Humanity, with all the alien attack movies, is being programmed to be xenophobic towards aliens should we ever encounter them. And the Roswell incident, if it's true, means the government did recover real alien technology. And are trying to reverse engineer it at Area 51 to speed up our space faring technology and weapons. The post suggests that the government learned from the alleged recovered alien tech that an attack might be coming our way, and the government wants to get to space first. That the government wants to launch a preemptive strike against the alleged alien race before they can get to Earth.
I like how you mention the largest institutions of charity in the world, instead of the atheistic states and ideologies which have led to every major genocide or mass death in the last century.

It also creates something new from blended material. Using your metaphore, half human- half Vulcan is a hybrid, not a new species on its own. Not to mention that even if the result is a viable offspring, such act may bring just as much drawbacks as advantages, especially if hybridization wouldn't involve purposeful genetic engineering. To provide you with some example, imagine a being with with emotional instablity of Vulcans in Pon Farr and sexual drive of humans.
It also gave sub vulcan strength and intelligence, and no measurable advantage from Vulcan perspective, lol. Same situation seen from opposite ends.

This was beyond stupid .. Don't the writers know that the weapon, apparently using energy, 1) needs a direct line of sight 2) the speed of light does not travel fast enough to hit its target that quickly 3) ships can easily avoid this beam weapon since they travel faster than light speed
