- I watched the episodes "Demons" and "Terra Prime" again last night, and although I hardly ever cry, I found myself with tears streaming down my face -- to the point where I had to make this video to work it out, you know? Poor Trip and T'Pol... poor little Elizabeth...

Still, T'Pol Looks beautiful as she holds her baby and would've made a great mother anyway. Loved the way she talked to her. Thank you, Jolene for playing T'Pol so wonderfully.
"Hello, I'm your mother." (pause) "You need a name. We'll discuss that with your father."
@@philipclayberg4928I wonder if this is how her mother introduced herself to T'Pol or of it's a typical way to do so.
The ending scene between Trip and T'Pol was gut wrenching. Incredible acting by Conner Trinneer.
And Jolene Blalock too.
From both of them, really. Even giving such horrible news, as tired and in pain as they both are, you really get the sense that they're together- even feeling it together. There's no grand declarations or kisses or proposals there at the end. There doesn't need to be. They're there, together, and they're going to stay together. A really beautiful couple.
The actors made me care for their characters. It's strange and yet comforting that I can feel heart break for this fictional couple.
this video still makes me cry my heart as been ripped since lost my daughters all i ever do is cry this is 5 star video
i lost two children due to illness years ago and this video still touches me and my wife.
A beautiful, moving video. Watching T'Pol hold the baby, I see my young wife with our first child. (47 years ago that is)
i lost both my daugthers in april and this song and video makes me think of them it is a great video you have done a great job on it.
a great tribute to T'Pol and Trip and their baby ... if she was to die then T'pol and Trip should have been together in the last episode with another child of their own watching Archer walk up those steps and without all the hologram scenes. A tribute to the entire crew of Enterprise!
Yeah man it took all of her meditation in Vulcan religious training not the Fall apart but she could barely hold it man because she had a human DNA inside of her trips dna
Yeah, instead we got Riker. :(
This is what star trek always tries to say and why it is so very important. The human spirit will prevail despite the odds. Long live trek!
T'Pol really did love Trip & Elizabeth. :(
+Kriz Docab vulcans love too
I used to write stories-for myself. Saved Some, tossed others in time. Write them and save them, no matter how silly they seem. Later, you casn go back and revise them. That's how David McCallum came to writing his book and he's 85 now. I shouldn't have given up writing, but I kept the notes ideas for myself somewhere. I had an idea that Cpt.T'Pol visits Lt. Saavik in a dream-as her older self-and then Trip has to talk T'Pol to going into the future to save Saavik somehow so she can become a captain herself. Not sure if it would work, but he still had to convince her time travel is possible and that Saavik may or may not be related.
@Kevin McDougall I thought Saavik wasn't born til about 2264. She was reportedly about 20 yrs when she took the Kobayashi Maru test about 6 years older than Peter Preston-Scotty's nephew-who she was tutoring. So, unless the Romulans already had Hellguard established earlier in the 22nd c., I doubt it. It is possible that T'Pol's father was a Romulan who conned T'Les and left or died. He was mentioned in "Surak's Soul" but described as a Vulcan only. T'Pol was described to have inherited his fair skin and hair. Her mother seemed to have darker hair. There could be a connection if Saavik's mother was the Vulcan kidnapped by the Romulans and her family history was tied to a member of T'Pol's mother's family somehow, but I don't know for sure. If the older T'Pol were still alive by 2084, she could've gone to Vulcan, visited the sanctuary during the Refusion and gotten Saavik's hair sample, looked it up or just checked records herself there. Still, the younger T'Pol told Archer she didn't believe in time travel to which he said, " The hell you don't". (Too bad the gag where Scott comes back with his Woody Woodpecker laugh when she said that wasn't included at the end of the episode. I had to wait til the "TOS" bloopers were put on You Tube to watch them again after I was only able to watch them at the conventions. I was glad the "Enterprise" outtakes were included in the DVD sets.).
T'Les loved her daughter too. T'Les was T'Pol's mother in Home". Joanna Cassidy also played Dwayne Pride's mother in "NCIS:NO" in which Scott plays now.
I wanted a season 5 episode on earth where T-Pol and Trip go cat fishing in Florida. Yeah. The episode writes itself. Hats off to Connor and Jolene.
@Kevin McDougall Would she even eat fish? Hush puppies-particularly fried ones-are out of the question for a Vulcan. I love fish and hushpuppies so I'd go (fictionally) with Trip instead.
That's ok. I tried that too. Couldn't afford the trip to the Keys, but it was cancelled due to a hurricane.
@Kevin McDougall Not sure T'Pol even knows how to swim. Maybe Trip could teach her first.
@@virginiaconnor8350, ? Excuse me but I don’t understand your comment. Hushpuppies are just cornbread fried (in corn oil), completely vegetarian.
@@markw208 I know. We ate fish WITH hushpuppies-as a side item- alongside the fish. Probably had coleslaw as a side too. Didn't say the hushpuppies had any fish (meat)in them.
Jolene looked so adorable holding a baby. Such a precious beautiful alien. Commander Shran looked like a sweet dad holding his cute little Andorian girl. Good-Bye pink skin.
I agree and from what Trip was saying at the end of Terra Prime, he wanted one. At least that's what I was getting.
I'm 65, retired fed bodyguard, ex ranger---and it got me too... BEAUTIFUL JOB on this video... THANK YOU SO MUCH for making this... they did a beautiful job on the baby's ears too.... wonder how they did that?? Anyway- THANK YOU AGAIN....
thank you so much it's been almost a year and i still tears us apart and still cry when i watch this video thank you
So this song has always made me cry. These Enterprise episodes made me cry. Put them together? I'm kind of a mess over here. lol. Beautiful, beautiful video though, what a great tribute.
The baby strengthened T'Pol's motherhood bowels. She was like a tigress and it was beautiful to see. A Vulcan "Amanda". She logically decided to marry for "all the right traditional reasons, but I bet she never has a child in that union. Trip will always be "the man". Trip became a "daddy". He got a little girl. I was so broken up to see his sorrow.
@jedinine HUGS & LOVE to you, Godspeed for your loss, I am PRAYING that U&I will meet your loved ones SOON, Amen!
That was truly lovely, and I cry like crazy when I saw this ep. and am crying all over again!
OMG I'm crying! this was beautiful, but so sad! Poor Trip, T'Pol and Elizabeth... :'(
Very heart wrenching moment when Trip and T'pole baby loss. So many people can relate to this...... 😢
This is such a moving video. I'm sitting here bawling my eyes out.
This is a great video one of the best i have seen
nice video, totally agree that this was a very heartwrenching story.
Beautiful music.
OMG, this is great. I always hated that Elizabeth died though you captured her and her family very well in this vid.
Stars!
I saw Jolene Blalock and I became a fan of star trek enterprise soon after that.
Would like to thank all the people who sent beautiful messages thank you so much love you all
I just noticed this. I'm sorry that happened to you. I've had several friends who lost their children too. I lost my babies too, but they weren't human, just my Border Collides, but they were like my children, even at 13, 14,15,and 16.
A lot of Triptolers don't see TATV as canon, so who knows...if that piece of crap hadn't been created, Trip and T'pol might have stayed together and had babies just as adorable as little Elizabeth...and if they didn't, as least Trip would've been alive and living with his Vulcan mate. Valentine to the fans my ass.
Very cute musicvideo!!!
u think after 2 years after loseing my daughters i would be able to watch this video without crying but its still so hard to watch this pain will never leave me i wish i would stop crying
This episode was very emotional
There was nothing wrong with Star Trek Enterprise. Much superior to Voyager. The ending was such a slap in the face to the cast.
Agreed, it was taken way before its time and deserved a better ending.
Well, as far as I am concerned, the Series ended with the penultimate Episode "Terra Prime" and Archers awesome speech (as well as the final scene of T'Pol and Trip comforting each other over their daughters death - a downer ending, to be sure, but more emotionally gripping than the entirety of "Discovery")
What was really a slap in the heart was this holoprogramme by Riker-Troi. Left out, the last episode could have stood on its own and explained that Trip really didn't die and that Archer gave T'Pol a note from Trip before his speech.
Much better than "DS9". "Voyager" was bearable. T'Pol told Archer she missed Trip and her mother, but didn't mention little Elizabeth. Why? Too painful?
Highly underrated series behind only the Original and STNG. Executives screwed the actors and the fans
F the star crap. This was a good show and there was no reason to end it. They don’t care about their fans and they don’t deserve them.
Can't believe drs. are saying rocking babies does harm. They sound like Paxton here. Rocking helps create a bond between mother and child. I think T'Pol would've remembered her mother doing so too, not just from observing Dr. Phlox.
@IngvanyeVanyarin Aww it fills my heart with joy to see such a bright soul think so fondly of a pitch black soul like me. Gratitude, buddy. Oh my, was it 6 months ago already since I thought up the pun "Eyes, eyes, baby eyes"? I've been thinking whether or not to make an animated music video about it. What do you think?
Bittersweet
But here is the loophole.
The 'established fact' that Spock was the first human/Vulcan hybrid was wrong....it was Elizabeth. Regardless of how she was concieved, she was a hybrid of human and Vulcan and did she exist. So there is no denying she pre-dated Spock since Enterprise pre-dates the original series by 100 years.
So if history forgot to include Elizabeth, the first person with human and Vulcan DNA then it is reasonable to assume that another child could have been forgotten by history.
I heard this before. I was just wondering where did you see that fact about Spock being first Hybrid? I have been a fan for 40 years and have never heard that.
He's the first human Vulcan hybrid to serve in Starfleet... not to ever be born
So what would happen IF Saavik had been pregnant with Spock's child? Given his 1/2 human nature, would the baby survive and what kind of mother do you think Saavik would've made? Just curious.
Pointed ears or not. My beloved Mother would have fell in love w/ this baby in an instant.
I keep going back to the video, wondering if I'm missing something. I love T'Pol's interaction with Elizabeth, her comforting Trip, and her own sadness. I thought I'd miss seeing how she reacted when the baby died and to Trip's death as well, but I'm sure she would have gotten through it with her friends' help like I did when my parents and friend died.
@03nj Sounds like Alison Krauss.
Vive Les Trek-dorks! I'm one too. This episode was VERY sad. And then the finale a few episodes later was enough to tick fans off.
Supposedly in one of the Star Trek books Starfleet faked Trip's death and he, T'Pol and their children live happily ever after. I like that ending.
@Logansbl It is her
This, not "These Are The Voyages" should have been the last episode of season 4. Maybe, CBS All Access could redo the end and continue "Enterprise" (or "Endeavour" as that would be T'Pol's new ship as captain. Fans, write Kurtzman and tell him what you want.
Not much? Elizabeth was very much for T'Pol and Trip who only got to know her for a short time. For a Vulcan woman who insisted she wasn't a dr., she knew enough to know something was wrong with the readings her scanner gave her and like any mother looked alarmed. She sure had to put up with a lot of grief with her mother's death, Elizabeth's, and then Trip's (supposedly not sure she knew it wasn't true-she lost the bond).
I missed this episode as I live in Germany. Can anyone put me up to speed on the episode?
This vid was avalable on mobil till recently. Anyone know why it isn't anymore?
If was actually a "Star Trek:Endeavour" series (episodes 5-10?), then why didn't the baby live in that one? Didn't Trip? I can see T'Pol raising a baby that looked like herself and was probably just as emotional as her mother said she was.
I wonder if "Enterprise" had been allowed to continue, Dr. Phlox might've found a way to save baby Elizabeth's life. Would T'Pol been able to care for a child with special needs? Like Pa'nar Syndrome and AIDS, the topic of special babies and Vulcans could've been a topic too.
The only good thing about the series finale is that it's all in a holodeck program created by 'historical files', whose to say there aren't errors (history rarely gets everything right
& 200 years later no one alive really knows what happened)
For example: say Trip really ended up in a coma & the crew faked his death b/c of retaliation for the aliens he killed in the explosion. They wanted to protect a helpless man in a coma. Say then Trip woke up & he and T'Pol went somewhere no one knew them
Read The books regarding their future relationship.
EPIC, and true, I cried, too- That gerstunken idiot (the Terra Prime a--) should NEVER have done THAT to Trip & T Pol!
Blame it on Crewman Masarro too. He stole Trip and T'Pol's DNA. I think he was mentioned in some earlier episodes.
this is a sad song
Even though your comment is 3 years I couldn't help but correct you, Trip did not die but his death was faked as explained in the "The Good That Men Do" by andy mangels and michael a. Martin.
Although I don't know it's canon but if you remember in the last episode you see Trip smile and winks at Archer before he "dies" and the novel mostly follows what happened after his "death". Have a at the reviews or description for more information.
FOUR SEASON ?
trip baby then
no she is real
what epsode is this
"Demons" and "Terra Prime". Who took care of the baby when T'Pol went to confront Paxton?
@trekkiechickable Actually, the baby was created without their consent - their DNA was stolen.
Where did T'Pol get the robe? I take it was a meditation robe, but I don't remember her wearing it in the earlier years. Was she still cold from the Trellium symptoms?
this race is the race archer went to seek help from against the romulans but was unsucessful i forgot the name but he was surprise they came hhaaahah only to realise saving enterprise was not their goal but then their outlying colonies was in the interest of the romulan empire and the romulans wanted it as it was near to romulan territory and so later on sharan came along with kolos as archer fleet was almost decimated
trip no, trip y u do dis, trip shtap nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Archer kept on going from civilisation to civilistaion adn yet it was almost in vain and then archers rank was promoted as commodore hahahaa a fleet of near to hundred ships and Admiral vOLdore call humans hevam although i dun understand what he meant anyway ,at first his fleet was badly outnumbered and lost several ships in a few engagements with the romulans then starfleet ran of of vital materials as they had convoys to protect however archer had intel on the romulans where
Itd been cruel but tpol should of had a moment with Archer where theyre talking about trip after he died and she tells him Trip isnt completely gone
I believe either the beutiful jolean or the very hot gery ryan has had a good number of kids. You could never tell from both ...but jolean is amazing
Awww, that baybay is so cute, and the writers and producers are so evil for killing off the baby and Trip. I don't often hate stories, but killing babies is just barbarous! I hate how they left T'pol. Evil people to make money this way. Shame on them!
@trekkiechickable
Nope, she was never pregnant.
Doesn't matter. T'Pol still loved Elizabeth, even though she discovered she wasn't perfect and still grieved greatly for her. While T'Pol didn't always see eye to eye with her own mother, it was obvious T'Les loved her too and that's why T'Pol was do overwhelmed at her death., only to supposedly experience death a 3rd time, Trip's. He let's her know later he's not dead, but somehow the bond they had was broken.
One solution to put that stupid final episode to rest is to read the Enterprise books . You will be happy with the outcome. Spoiler alert. Trip and T’Pol do get together and have two kids.
they would strike next so he pursuade the admiral gardner i believer to deploy according to archers plan but then gardner insist that it would leave the solar system i think or so other systems critical to starfleet allies vulnerable the coalition of planets were shaky but i can see the formation of the federation of planets was forged in times of crisis yup so then along the way some or 1 civilisation came not to save the enterprise but rather to defend and outpost and happen ...
Season 4, Episode 21;
the sotry was interesting and well written but had a few plot holes and never quite explaine how the enterprise had some shields added to it was that strong but just decent enough to reduce stress to the hull plating armour thing yap
The original plan for this episode (had there been a season 5) was for Elizabeth not to die and for Trip and T'Pol to continue on in their relationship eventually having another child. At least that was Manny Coto's plan before the cancellation. Bragga and Berman forced Coto to rewrite this episode and then they didn't include him at all in that last horrible episode "these are the voyages."
Bragga and Berman were the primary reason Enterprise failed after 4 seasons. Had those two handed over writing and creative decisions to Coto in season 1 Enterprise might have gone 6 or 7 seasons. Bragga was not that good of a writer and was totally out of ideas even and burnt out before Voyageur even started (he retired in 2004) which preceded Enterprise and why it was such a flop. There were a few good ones here and there but Enterprise really didn't start picking up steam until mid way through the Xindi story arc (season 3) when Coto started taking over writing from Bragga and flushed out the Xindi conflict further and then started exploring the Earth Romulan War, early Klingon encounters, survivors of the Eugenics wars, etc. in season 4, but by then it was too late. Bragga was just obsessed with all the old tired time travel stuff Sulaban and incessant techno babble that plagued Voyageur and turned so many fans off. In hindsight Paramount and UPN should have insisted on a different writer for this series.
There is a interesting recent development though. It's been leaked that APPARENTLY CBS & Paramount are in early discussions with Scott Bakula (Archer), Jolene Blalock (T'Pol), Connor Trinneer (Trip), John Billingsley (Phlox), and many of the original cast members about bringing back the franchise for more seasons. The fact that Trinneer is being included in this discussion would seem to indicate they are going to disregard the last episode of Enterprise or come up with some kind of a retroactive continuity story arc to explain what happened. This was first leaked back in March 2021. From what I've read CBS and Paramount are not at all happy with how Star Trek Discovery is going and that Season 3 could possibly be it's last on cable TV with season 4 being released on Netflix only (it's already been filmed). This would free up the time slot on CBS and allow them to pick Enterprise. It's also been leaked that they are going in a different direction with new writers (hopefully Manny Coto and Mike Sussman) and producers. Thankfully Bragga has retired. I really hope it happens. Enterprise had much better cast chemistry than Voyageur ever had.
hi @02Tony i read juz a few pages on e book on brave the storm on star trek enterprise novels and it was fantastic Trip tucker the third went on to become a Vulcan businessman 2 find out who is really causing the mess and stirring up the earth romulan war thing it was awesome and trip begin 2 learn many things about the vulcans trip is really comical and archer kept begging 4 help and nobody came until much later Tpau was really idiot i muz saY hahhaa
Even though the show was going to end I was so mad they killed the baby off than they killed Trip off. Why couldn't have been a happy ending. Even if you killed Trip off they could have let Elizabeth live and maybe and since Vulcans live about two hundred years she could have stared in a new show. Even better maybe kill Tpol off and have her raised by her father. Just the exact opposite of Spock but have her have to interact with Tpol family on Vulcan. Well plenty of Fanize out there might as well write my own story because remember in SciFi there is about nothing that you can't undo from horrible screen writers that care nothing about the fans.
What's wrong with letting her be raised bye both of her parents? That way shed have a balanced upbringing
lmao
I clicked to see the video not your sorry succie Dolly Parton song!
She wasn't conceived, she was cloned. The problem with Vulcan/human children wasn't that they weren't compatible, but that the gestation periods meant that most died in embryo. But hey, if you want to battle against semantics, would it make you feel better if I said, 'First hybrid to survive childhood'?
Frankly I think it would have been a big middle finger to viewers to say, "oops, we forgot about this other hybrid. I suppose no one thought to mention it in medical journals or censuses."
I understood almost everything you said except for the last bit due to poor grammar and spelling, can you clarify and reiterate what you just said.
Is this performed by Beth Midler
why could they freeze Elizabeth till they found a cure.
The song isn't BY Alison Krauss, it's from Dumbo.
@BigOlBoxOCrayons They couldn't do that, because it's been established many times that Spock was the first human/Vulcan hybrid.
That successfully lived. I wonder what the genetic defect the baby had was called and how it affected her. I use to work with babies and kids with genetic defects. Sad when they died too.
wait a sec ...... TRIP got TPOL PREGNANT!!!!!!
hi hi brother the last bit of my comment was rather me of using sms short message system on handphone in saying trip learning many things about vulcan and getting the hang of the language even being very familiar with vulcan culture is really comical and archer kept begging for help and nobody came until much later and Tpau was really idiot i must saY hahahaha coz ....
