@@ninaj.7802 same I just had mine out this Monday. It wasn’t wisdom teeth. It was just my teeth I let go and they were bad. It sucks. But I also had dental anxiety, so I’m just glad that it’s over with now
@@Bigray73 yess mine also isnt wisdom teeth, its 4s and im getting another taken out next week. I can barely eat now😢 I hope u feel better tho and eventually are able to eat.

I've got tooth number 10 (next to my front tooth) on the top left side of my mouth extracted in a couple of weeks. What foods should I eat after the healing process is over? Can I eat different kinds of meat, etc.?
Once the area is healed, eat whatever you like.

I had some composite fillings done yesterday. Nothing deep, just at the gum line on my lower right side. Its been 24 hrs and parts of my mouth/tongue are still numb. Should I be concerned? Hard to taste on that side of my tongue too. Never had any problems with previous numbing experiences.
Hi, that can happen from an anesthetic injection. Usually it will go away on its own, it just takes some time. Let your dentist know about it so that they can monitor you.
There were no mentions about fruits.....what fruits am I supposed to avoid ??
You should be able to eat fruits when you can eat food.
Finally Removed a baby tooth that been stuck since 11 or 12 and my adult tooth grew behind it and hopefully the area heals fast since the tooth extraction was pretty quick , i ate fruit loops but i let it get soggy and its been a day since ive had the procedure was that a bad idea?

I just had a root canal/temporary crown and have to wait 3wks to get my permanent crown. Can I drink Orange juice/ hot chocolate w/marshmallows or juices of any kind or just stick to water? (Which I've been doing for weeks now) I just wanna be specific for myself and others.
You should be able to eat and drink most foods with a temporary crown. Just avoid anything very hard or very sticky. Yhe temporary crown is made of plastic and held in with a temporary cement.
@@VeryNiceSmileDental so like orange juice is fine? What about sodas or alcoholic/liquor beverages for the holidays? Not trying to go crazy but I just want to be sure. You also mentioned to stay away from hot foods right? So just warm foods. Are crackers of any type okay? Marshmallows?

Yes you should be able to, just avoid anything hard for a few days at the tooth heals.

I ate fish and now have small particles of fish on each extraction which are at the top of my mouth behind my teeth.... Salt water rinse isn't working but it's not causing any discomfort so what do I do?

Hi, after having a white filling placed, you should be able to eat as soon as the anesthetic wears off.

I usually tell my patients to wait 24 hours before rinsing out their mouths after having a tooth extracted. You should be able to use mouthwash at that time.

I tell my patients to wait until the anesthetic wears off, then they can drink coffee but not too hot.
I can't eat or grind hard on my temporal white filling and my dentist wants to do a root canal 😭😭
Sorry to hear. It sounds like you have a deep cavity and your dentist thinks it's into the nerve space.
@@VeryNiceSmileDental I don't have tooth aches at all, just cold temperature sensitivity and I can't grind hard food on his temporal filling and yes the cavity was deep but I still don't think I need a root canal as my pulp is healthy, just that there's a caries sitting on it and if removed, it would espose the pulp , I just think my dentist is mean and inexpensive who doesn't care about the type of pain I feel, he thinks all pain is pain so wants a root canal, besides I thought I wasn't supposed to chew hard food on a temporal filling so why does he think I should be able to

@@VeryNiceSmileDental I'm in Ghana, and this dentist I'm seeing seems to be the best at the city where I live unless I try other major cities which I'd certainly do cause I only chew on one side now

Yes. Just drink out of a cup or glass. Don't use a straw.
