I think Gerry’s best moments were when he saw the girls on TV at the concert and just laughed to himself, and when he was the one to get Claire to tell her her father was going to die.
Gerry is a pure soul and the only sane intelect in the whole of Derry
and that's only cause he's from navan lol.
Add James to that list. Who's also from the outside 😁
He's not even from derry ffs
39:23 "JFK spoke to Colm? Christ, that man didn't have much luck, did he?" 🤣🤣
True
The hand on Gerry's shoulder by grandpa Jo, whilst Dolores sings away, makes me cry every single time.
Gerry yes but clive 😂 love granda though
Same! That, and the moment with Grandpa Joe and the picture of Mary and Sarah's mom. As well as the "Presidential Speech!" This is a great show!
Poor Gerry. Sweet, introspective, empathetic, and caring. And gets treated like crap for his trouble.
Ian McIlhenny has spoken about how Tommy Tiernan kept making the rest of the cast laugh.
Gerry is such a wonderful character and his joy seeing his daughter and her friends at the concert is special and so moving.
Da Gerry is the one holding the only braincell in their family 😂😂😂
I love Gerry . I do feel sorry for him being the only reasoned one in all the chaos . The amount of grief he gets from GP Joe too 😄
That was the most heartwarming “Piss Off” ever.
It was a flawless Australian accent!
True!
Between James, Gerry and others from outside the North, I like the implication that people outside of Northern Island are completely normal.
Mary and Gerry living in Derry
The Grandad and baby show a lovely touch 😊
These are great, but why do they keep cutting Joe's line about his late wife? 'They're right. You were perfect.' Most beautiful line in the show.
Just once, I wish Gerry would have gotten right in Joe’s face and told him to piss off😁
Same!
Emmett from the boot…”True”. Gets me every time!
I love this program. This family is hilarious 😂
Mary and Erin are like the same person lol
All TV should be Irish TV
When he tells the waitress off, and then Jo has a go, makes me cry 😂😂😂
Da Gerry is the best!
Okay.
But the very title after knowing Tommy's stand up comedy has me laughing pretty good.
Ma’s cuppa 😆 28:33 that’s hilarious!!!
Can we appreciate Sister Michaels amazing skin?
"Oscar" worthy, every minute.
Absolutely Brilliant.
I love this show so much
24:24 on, makes me cry.
Why did she take a big clock? Lol
Jesus falls a second time 😂😂😂
It’s weird how Gerry is so similar to Jerry from Rick and Morty in the way he is treated by the family
Yup the Jerry.
This show is funny.
Welcome to the club, Ciaran!
I didn't know Jammy Dodgers were cookies. I just thought it was a cool name for a little boat
@timtrainor9720
Biscuits here Tim not cookies 😁
The rifleman thanksgiving special
Where canI see this show?
He reminds me of John Deacon
From Queen??? He does!
So Erin fancies james cause he takes after gerry. Something about a phrase of girls look up to their dads as a role model of who to date.
Sister Michel does so want to dance.
Welcome to the club kieran
your granda' said "fanny"
POTATO!
The picture and sound are way out of synchronization.
No one EVER heard of a "panic attack" in the 90's. Anachronistic. Hate it.
Yes they did. A friend's fiance had one in 96
@@scottshanahan3827 -I stand corrected... 'Never heard of it until the past few years.
@@mattfinleylive It's certainly more common now, but I definitely remember this girl saying she had one and it would've been in 96 as I was still in the Navy (weird memory). But, that was the first time I ever heard the term and I thought it was bs.
Sorry, to continue. She kind of ruined a guys' night out and I thought she was being ridiculous.
Anxiety existed in the 90s as did panic attacks. What are you on about?
I frickin love how the Irish Catholics, Catholics in general take God's name in vain every breath. NOT! but the other crap is funny af
Just because you don't know what "taking the lord's name in vain" actually means doesn't make it anyone else's problem.
Where ?
Not? You still living in the early 90s?
I love Gerry, probably because my family is similar to theirs so I can relate.
