    You guys are confused. If someone is been polite and tolerable to your behavior even though they are uncomfortable is that pretentious? Do you expect them them to be hostile instead; how does that brings cohesiveness and inclusion? Is that why they attacked Foreigners in South Africa because that's their way of showing they don't like you? That's when keeping it real goes too far, right? Any civilized society is more accepting even if suspicious so you and your guest should shut your trap. Been suspicious of others doesn't mean you are been fake, it only means been cautious instead of retorting to violence or prohibitive vibes toward that person because in any civilized society, that's rude.

    I’ve had a few Ghanian friends in the past and I could never really tell if they liked me or not 😂. But I also don’t have friends from my own 🇳🇬 people 😅 they can hurt your feelings sometimes with their jokes. Most of my friends are Somalis and Asians.

    No Nigerian interviewer will support a foreigner who is talking down on Nigerians and Nigeria this way. Never !!!! Am amazed that the interviewer is agreejng with all the trash shes saying about his own people. Am Nigerian and I have Ghanaian friends and I know that most are not what shes describing. Bro, Mr. Interviewer am surprised at you.....why would you give her such a field day? I bet this girl cant say this about us in our country, we shall put her in her rightful place. Even fear will not even allow her start such a conversation in Nigeria. ...That will not happen in my country biko.

      But I digress, even on CNN, Aljazeera, BBC, etc, they would tend to control the narrative unless it's a new media podcast or talks how, and even then...
      How it's Nigerian that is your go-to card tells a lot of how much is unspoken in such few words for the length that you wrote
      After all, NIGERIA & Ghana are siblings, yeah?

    It marks of unguided arrogance to expect others of different cultures to be like you. It takes the treasure of open mindedness to grow to fit into an already intricately woven fabric of attitudes and ways of life and not symbolising an imposter sage. Differences are the pathways of diversity within diplomacy.
    In our cultures we are trained not to be harsh towards others even if you hate them..hence our being less violent in our actions.
