One huge time saving tip: When you first enter the hub lobby area place you don’t have to go through every door. You can just pry the big quarantine door open with a tool.
You could go though some of the modes not all and once you get 4 orbs and you put them down you can open the door
@@ParkedPrints prying it open is easier for speedrunning the game

fun fact: behind the ammo machine thing there is a button that changes it to auto, when you hold down a ammo button it keeps going

Very good tip for story mode: If you crouch irl while beginning a jump in game, and get up right after you release jump, you can jump higher and farther than normal.

I've noticed that the timing varies based on avatar, but when you pull this off, you can do some insane jumps.
I always just jump irl and it works pretty well too

Btw if you press the top button while holding the nimbus gun you can go through walls so its easier to find the capsules

There's a sign around where you find the first openable thingy, where it tells you how to open it, which I thought was a really good way to tell the player

I beat the game, then tried to get mods.. I couldn’t figure it out but this video is so amazing.
i have a question, how do you spawn the other dev tools. I’ve completed the emote storyline including the ascent and collected all the dev tool orbs, but when i’m in another level and i click spawn dev tools it only spawns the nimbus gun and utility gun, i can only use them in the bonelab hub where the little container thingies are so if you know how plz help on how to spawn guns like the constrainer gun, toy balloon gun, and stuff like that

For the mod io, you really don’t need a computer. You only need mobile vr station downloaded on your headset

I beat level 14 and I thought that was the end but still can’t unlock the Nimbus gun or spawner gun in the hub. can someone tell me why?
turn on dev mode in mods menu, then restart

It took me 3/4 of the game to figure out I had to pull apart the capsules 😭
i like how the game brings lots of references to other games or fandoms. for say:
the duck season characters
crablet: inspired by the head crab (MY child! 😡)
goldeneye
men in black
backrooms
Gachas (pokeballs) and much more.
I really wish I had watched this video before I started the game. Would have saved me a lot of time.
lol when I first started, I thought the capsules were a weird compass because the object inside would always turn, and then I saw the sign in the locker room I think

You don’t even have to use a pc now u can download a file explorer on quest store but I haven’t used it I just side loaded cx file explorer on my quest
Acutally just fill each one with 2 and the orange one with 1 it will open well atleast it did for me

Why in some mod environments the spawn gun is in there but in other environments its not.
Example say I downloaded smackdown environment, I go in the spawn gun is in there, but another environment I downloaded an apartment but the spawn gun is not in there, I downloaded a hotel and the spawn gun is in there.
I dont get it. 🤷♂️

It's worth pointing out that you don't have to do anything in the hub but go through the door.
You can find the level exit button, which is always right next to where you spawn, and just leave and it unlocks that part of the puzzle.
You can also just pry open the quarantine door with a crowbar.
Or just go in and out of 3 of the game modes and you’re done

How do you return to the hub during a level??
if u have dev mode, during a level just open ur menu that has ur inventory and preferences and u can find a levels menu
