- I believe I have found the best kept secret in Africa. For a country not known for its aviation market, I believe Air Senegal may have given us Africa's best business class on their A330neos which fly from Dakar to both Paris CDG and New York JFK. Let me know your thoughts on this product from Air Senegal!

Another nice trip report. I'm so grateful for the narration, so your viewers don't miss the visual content by having to read lengthy captions. Thanks for the post. -Delaware sub.
Thank you!
Thank you for traveling with our national flagship, you are always welcome with us 😊❤
Thank you! Senegal is wonderful! 🇸🇳❤️
I love the variety of airlines you fly and the high quality video. My sister was a FA (stewardess) at United for many years based in SFO. She lived in San Mateo. My family received a lot perks before deregulation. Mom and Dad had unlimited passes which they took advantage of. My sis retired as a gate agent in LAS. Keep up the good work!
That’s awesome! That’s close to home for me
Nice trip report. What an interesting looking seat.
Your editing is great . I love how you get every detail of every trip . Love this channel
Thank you!
Your videos are so relaxing and, yet, quite compelling. Because of the variety of carriers upon which you travel, I learn a lot about airlines I have never before flown.
That’s awesome! Glad to hear it!
Great Video, it’s Woloff (Wah-Loff) that the language spoken in Senegal 💐
Yep, I corrected that in the comments right after the video went live. Thanks
This is a great report. It's doubtful I'll ever get a chance to fly Air Senegal, in business especially, so it's nice to see their entry in the transatlantic business game. Great that they stack up well.
Thank you for the narration, great video of pre departure and on flight. Subbed.
Awesome! Thanks!
✈Awesome trip report as always Patrick, look's like you were well looked after by the F.A on that flight to NY👍
Entertaining and informative as usual. I actually can't wait to see your other business class reports from Africa because what I saw here is, at best, on par or below some of the airlines you mentioned and very similar to Ugandan and Rwandair on their newer A330s'.
I didn’t get a chance to fly on those yet, although I hope to soon. In the next month there will be videos from my flights on Ethiopian, South African, and Kenyan
excellent trip report
Thank you!
I csnt stand airline reviews where I have to read very long captions at a ridiculously fast speed. Thanks for narrating. Thanks for the best air Senegal trip report I've seen thus far.
Awesome! I’m glad you liked it!
Excellent !!
Love waching your videos, hope air senegal will expand more in the future tho become a big african carrier🥰
It would be great to see that. I do think Senegal would have to become a bigger destination for the airline to really grow. But it was a great flight experiejce
I wish you were able to get on this flight when it continued on to BWI, great report!
Me too! It’s too bad that was discontinued
GEEAT video.
Hey that's my country. Glad you enjoyed it. Hopefully I'll have a chance to take this flight someday.
It was incredible! Spend a week around Mbour and had a blast!
So wonderful to see the pride Senegal very evidently shows in their national carrier.
I love to see smaller countries that can make a good long haul aviation service!
Wow. The first time watch an Air Senegal review.
Nice flight review.
Thank you!
Great review, and the first I’ve seen for this airline. Looked great!
Thank you! If I’m not mistaken, Noel Miller did a report on their business class a while back, but not on their longer NYC route
P.S is in the Motherland ❤ Love the diversity if airlines. Great job keep it up
Awesome, thank you!
Great review- you should come over and review Air Tanzania if you get the chance- fleet of A220's and 787..curious to get your thoughts on it!
I’m planning a trip on the 787s actually. I had a reservation Dar Es Salaam - Guangzhou but unfortunately it was cancelled and the route seems to be discontinued as of now, but I still want to get out there at some point
@@PatrickSheaAviation LOL yeah classic ATC. their 787's keep flying to Mumbai though, haven't heard of any interuptions on that route yet!
Thanks Patrick
Thanks!
Agree the seat is a huge step above the likes of Kenya, Ethiopian and TAAG. South African I flew once from Accra and was a similar setup to Senegal. Love flying in Africa, it's never dull!
African aviation can be super interesting! There’s a ton of great aviation experiences to be had. But yea, I was impressed by Air Senegal. Now I’m excited to try TAAG later this year and especially Air Coté d’Ivoire when their new long hauls arrive next year
Left Senegal oFISHially... love it :D
Had no idea they flew to New York. Looks great.
Yea man! It’s fun! They used to fly to Baltimore through New York as well. Large amounts of Senegalese in New York
Excellent Video! When will you be releasing the South African Airways trip report? Also, what route did you take with the airline?
I flew it Joburg to Accra. I’m hoping to have it up soon. I have a lot of footage from my trip that I’m sorting through
Thx You from Senegal
Thank you! 🇸🇳
Great review!! I wonder if Akon can't get GE or TSA pre-check because of his past convictions. No judgement from me here he's a great guy and artist I just know those programs are strict when it comes to that.
Thanks! That’s an interesting thought that hadn’t even crossed my mind. Not sure
Bro try Egypt air 787s you’ll have a new favorite business class in Africa
🎵Konvict, music and you know we upfront 🎵
If you don’t mind saying, what project he helped fund did you go to?
He is always helping out with projects. The day before I was at Akon City, which was a project he had that would result it a bunch of jobs there. Unfortunately rich investors kind of ruined that project, but he still is very invested in assisting the country
@@PatrickSheaAviation nice, ok thanks. Ps Akon should’ve been in the corner of the thumbnail for more views 😝
Patrick Shea I would love to travel to Senegal on Air Senegal 🇸🇳 with you 😊❤ I have family and friends in Senegal
That’s amazing! Senegal was wonderful! I hope you get a chance to try out Air Senegal next time you can get back there
I think after JfK this flight makes a stop at BWI (Baltimore).
No, stop doing that leg a while back.
Unfortunately BWI was discontinued about a month or two ago. It was their way of connecting Senegal to DC, but not enough people were choosing that route. I think if it comes back, we would see some form of direct route to the area, but with Air Senegal’s small size, I wouldn’t be surprised to see another airline (like United maybe) start that up
Great video - I’m amused at your pronunciation of DAK AR being d’CAR - made me laugh over and over - I’m guessing it’s that American accent
The seats are Macky Sall ex president APR colors 😮😮😮. Man that guy went out too far 😂😂😂
Senegal doesn't have a US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Category 1 safety rating hence they are not flying on their own equipment yet.
Yep. That is why Airhub operates the JFK (and formerly BWI) flights while Air Senegal decides if they want to invest the money into getting that certification
You are wrong we have all certification to usa
🤝🏻🇸🇳
Yea Wolof my guy
I was confused womof??
I appreciate the confidence tho
lol yea I tried to pin a comment correcting that
I Have Experience Air Senegal Business Class,You Will Find The Same Seats On Uganda Airways.I Love The Seats.Great Trip Report
Good to know! Thanks!
I would recommend trying all of Africas business class😂. Aside Ethiopian, South African airways and Kenya Airways, there's Air Tanzania, Rwand air, Air Mauritius and Egypt Air too.
Personally i prefer air senegal too
@@mrdodo6136 I heard they have a good service and would love to try them out someday.
Just flew this and this is not the aircraft they're currently leasing from Hi-Fly. It's a very sad ex-Kingfisher A330-200 with angled seats in business class, no WiFi and no IFE. One of the worst long-hauls I've ever taken.
Yea I’ve seen that one. When this one is in maintenance cycles, they wetlease another aircraft. Seems to be happening more and more
interesting. been that way for several weeks at least.@@PatrickSheaAviation
❤🇺🇸
OMW clean your 👟!!!!!!
Personally Disagree. Still think the best of Africa is Air Mauritius. They have better lounge services, more impressive meals, and a better connection route network, almost all powered by A330 Neo and A350.
Air Mauritius is in a different category, given how big a tourism destination 🇲🇺 has become. But yeah, they are great, better than BA or AF, for sure.
I’d love to try that out. Although personally I’m more impressed when airlines from these smaller, less visited countries are able to put out a good showing
Air senegal has better connections routes and they are ordering more aircreafts for his fleet.
@@mrdodo6136 does air Senegal have code sharing with a lot of airlines? I know Mauritius does
@@composimple364 air senegal does too !

Your flight reviews are definitely not conventional.
Thank you! (I think 🤔🤷♂️)
@@PatrickSheaAviation lol! sorry if I sounded ambiguous; it was intended as a compliment.
Incredible : "the number of English-only movies dropes down significantly"... you cannot stand coexistence with other languages, or what ? What could we say, non-english-native-speakers (who by the way represent 92% of humanity), facing an invasion of English all around the world? And what is the point traveling, if you don't accept language and culture diversity ? 😡 A part from that : good job for Air Senegal. Congratulations 😃
You seem to be really trying to force a narrative on a line that really wasn’t that deep. English is my first language as well as the majority of my viewers. Don’t go tryin to mess like that
Let's say the way you put it is not particularly tactful!
