▶ Because hand standing is both exhilarating and challenging, Adho Mukha Vrksasana (Full Arm Balance) can often be an alluring yoga pose 🤸♀️💘🤸♀️
▶ Today's Iyengar Yoga sequence is designed for students who aren't yet able to do a yoga handstand but who want to know what to practice to help them along their hand standing journey.
▶ If you are new to hand standing, developing strength and confidence is key. It's also important to remember that learning to handstand is a gradual process. There isn't one particular instruction or alignment cue that will propel you into an inversion.
▶ Sooooo, my best advice: stay focused, be patient, practice, and have FUN!

Dear Stephanie due to a couple of cervical hernias unfortunately I am not able to build such a great strength in my shoulders so my arms are very weak and often bend when I try handstands do you have any advice just to improve my position 🙏☺️thank you!
