This is one of your best marines, you took a very unique chapter and color sceme and made it look easy to achieve amazing results! Anyway we can get more Badab War chapter tutorials? maybe Carcharodons (greyscale), Astral claws, minotaurs, Red scorpions? The fluff and chapter fluff for each made Badab my favorite 40k era. Kudos on another great video! I've watched it almost 30 times already :)
Something like "Hiya, did you miss me?" ??? Cool ... I'd still like to see a Howling Griffon done though ... either Badab War, or later quartered scheme. Thinking about it, Mortifactors would be pretty cool, too ...
Love your channel, your tips really helped me with my Iron Warriors. My next project is Mantis Warriors. Any chance to get a video on their Tranquility Camo?
Love these! New to your videos and have been painting untrained for years. This has really stepped up my game. Had some questions about materials which may have been covered in another video. This is my fourth video of yours to watch. 1.) What is the difference between citadel paints and the acrylics such as Apple Barrel that you can buy at Hobby Lobby? 2.) Can you make an acrylic ink wash by watering down acrylic paint or are acrylic ink washes necessary? Thanks, Fred
the difference is the qualety oif the paint. better dry time, much less chipping of paint, and mostly the pigments have a long time bleaching resistance.
I caught "Allons-Y", "Geronimo" ... I don't think there was a "Raxacoricofallapatorius" in there, however ... Out of curiosity, what made you choose a Mantis Warrior? You going for chapters involved in the Badab War? If so ... Howling Griffons and Minotaurs up next? tee-hee
Hey GP, great work! I was wondering if you could include the name of the paints/washes you used in your descriptions, it's a bit tedious to scrub through the video and write down the names. Thanks! and again, great job!
great vid, however, i think the contrast between the greens is too high also, seeing your alternative heresy video in the thumbnails to the right made me think of something, what will the successor look like?... that's not a question, just me thinking out loud.
Awesome space marine.

Where the yellow shoulder meets the green trim and the tactical arrow could do with some shading.
Otherwise great looking model.

So you know how people kept telling you to enter this into the Space Marine Chapter color contest at MWG? Yeah... the winner looks exactly like yours.
Ah, very nice very nice. I do have one question. Do you ever plan on doing those live paintings again?

Ich mische die farbe mit Lahmian Medium um die Akzente zu setzten ^^ Geht echt besser da die farbe kaum verlaufen kann :)
