As an avid warhammermr fanboy I’ve read the herasy and most all books out this made me want a new warhammer game , ever since I herd the new one coming out I went back to play the old space marine game it’s been 10 years since I played it . And I can’t wait till space marine 2 . This is dead for me personally
What happened to helldivers 2? It's quite simple people wanted to have the power fantasy experience of a space marine while helldivers was and always has been a guardsman experience, you're not meant to be strong in this game all of the propaganda props you up as a Super soldier and the irony of the entire setting is that you're not, your meat for the meat grinder your cannon fodder Your a basic foot soldier and that's not just flavour text that translates into the gameplay and that's what made everyone upset because they ate up the propaganda, now there is a fundamental disconnect between what the people who are angry want the game to be and what it has always been.
Yes man! Arbitrary difficulty is the best! Crashing 2/3 matches is amazing 🤩 Having more stuff bugged than working, TREMENDOUS. Takes multiple attempts for the devs to accomplish anything at all, most of the time they release stuff its broken. All hallmarks of a masterpiece 👌
Luke it's called irony the overpowered weapons ARE overpowered you're just not able to use them reliably and they don't save you or make you feel like an absolute badass because remember you're a foot soldier and there's a budget (which is why the cooldown exists) there is no glazing here you just don't like what I'm saying the entire pitch of helldivers was the grunt fantasy of being the evil empires foot soldier the CCO and former CEO himself compared it to being the first stormtrooper to get through the door and then immediately get shot by Han solo that's the idea that created helldivers never once did I say my personal opinion on whether that is a good philosophy or not I simply stated that that was what the game was always intended to be yet again you're just mad just like 90% of the player base who saw this game thought power fantasy and apparently fell for the in game propaganda thinking helldivers are supposed to be elite super soldiers when they're not
I honestly wasn’t being harsh or “doomer” like, I still love this game. The devs have just gotten lost on what made the game so great at launch, but I got hope with this recent balance drop they reverted alot of the nerfs especially for the flame type weapons (those should cook them bugs alive)
@@shxdyjames funny you should say that. Their recent change actually did nothing to fix it. Even Arrowhead realized they fucked up and made another PR statement on Twitter and Discord (not that it should give them any credibility).
