Fun fact: Jack and the pack were originally intended to have their own show however it wasn't ever conceived outside of the episodes here. This was possibly due to the success of Bob the Builder at the time during the early 2000's and it would've seemed redundant to have two shows about talking construction vehicles
The larger models were also difficult to use, similar to the small scale narrow gauge models in season 4, hence why they went with larger models in season 5.
@@joshuaW5621 yeah, however they could've gotten the aresdale engines in there. All they would have to do is use some camera angles to make them look smaller
Shame on HiT Entertainment for ruining this season for the USA by adding bad narration by Michael Brandon, replacing the classic series intro with the new series intro, and replacing the classic series background music with new series background music.
The reason Jack & The Pack was scrapped by HiT is because so they can avoid building tension and competition with their popular show Bob The Builder. While it’s kinda understandable, it’s too bad we couldn’t get to see the other half of the 26 episodes.
It makes you wonder what it would have been in an alternate universe where brit allcroft didn’t sell her company to HIT entertainment and what would have happened if the jack and the pack spin off did happen would mike and junior still been the composers, would Micheal Angelis still be the narrator or would they have gotten someone else etc

Though Michael Angelis’s narration is just plain bad compared to what he has done for the previous 3 seasons, at least he does have effort still. The Mike and Junior music in this season is much like 5 & 6, well only for the UK and 3 episodes from the US at least mainly from Thomas and The Jet Engine DVD, it sounds beautiful as always. The stories are much more interesting than Season 6 in General Except for one. As for the REAL USA version, Michael Brandon was painful to listen too, and I grew up listening to him in the Hit Era, speaking of which. I despise “what’s the matter with Henry“ as well, but I feel as though there’s a good episode buried here somewhere. It just needs a major rewrite. And instead of them knowing that Henry is sick, they don’t know because Henry is keeping his issues under wraps, either out of pride or because he doesn’t wanna be seen as a whiner to the other engines. With Emily being the only one to notice somethings wrong, being emotionally aware and caring. With the right touches, this episode could’ve had a great message about not being ashamed to talk about your problems and that bottling them up will only make things harder on you.
Personally I disagree with the statement that the Old Bridge is one of the worst of the classics, it’s not a great episode per say but anyone can be traumatized by any event. Skarloey may be a wise and brave engine but I don’t blame him for being scared to cross the bridge, I do think they could have made it more obvious that it more of a mental fear but still I don’t hate this episode I just think it’s decent. At least it was better than seasons 8-16
And what's your favorite season 7 episode?
I really wish that they never changed the music in this season because these episodes are much better with Mike and Junior’s music
At least Michael Brandon is more lively than Michael Angelis

Rheaneas and the rollercoaster
Those moles look like they came from Wallace & Gromit! Lol!
They remind me of one of the characters from Roary the Racing Car. Do you remember that show?

I have a question James, why don’t you like Micheal Brandon? I thought he was a great narrator?
Most Thomas fans including myself don’t like Michael Brandon’s narration because he talks way too slowly like he sounds bored
I think it’s because his slow talking sounds boring
Bulgy rides again
Edward's brass band
10:18 is it just me or did I see butch with a face in the model series?

Season 7 of Thomas And Friends, the start of both the downfall of the series and Hit Entertainment's takeover.
I can agree with you, I hate The Old Bridge. I also hate Best Dressed Engine and The Runaway Elephant.
I find Best Dressed Engine meh. I just cannot get over Gordon's theme and he is very in character. But by God, Trevor is stupid! What happened? No wonder they tried scrapping him. However I really like The Runaway Elephant.
@@TheBrickGuy7939 ( Click read more) Let me tell you why I hate BDE and TRE.
Best Dressed Engine: Although Gordon is in character, he should be proud of himself for being decorated, and should've changed his mind about being decorated from not being decorated to being decorated.
The Runaway Elephant: You know when those two engines says ''Hooray for Duncan's mistake!''? Well, Duncan should've been happy about that.
That's all I can say.
@@BrimmySP Yeah the episode sorta just felt like it went nowhere without Gordon changing his mind. Also take into account that he has been decorated before when he took the Queen to Knapford. And while I do agree with TRE ending, the rest of the episode I like. Also the last time we hear the Runaway Theme before The Adventure Begins.

Season 7 (10/10)
Jack and the pack (10/10
Oh boi how this list has changed over the months
Season 7 is a great way to End the classic Series. Micheal Angelis narration sounds a bit dull
I like to call Jack And The Pack, Jack And The S.C.C
The initials S.C.C has already been established in the series as "Sodor China Clay", a.k.a the clay pits where Bill and Ben work.
@@JamesAWilliams Really, well i will just call it Jack And The Pack
What does ASMR mean
0:39 So does that mean season 7 here in the U.S. ISN'T a classic season?
I still see it as a Classic series season. It just got neutered in the US with an unnecessary change of music.
Did anyone else notice that in the first few seasons of Thomas and Friends, every piece of music like the Danger theme or James' theme if not all the themes including, The Runaway Theme, Percy's Theme, Gordon's Theme, even Toby's Theme is exact re dubs of the original classic Thomas and Friends Theme, or has anyone not noticed that.
Because I did,
Anyway I'm Skye and I'll see you in the Skies and in the years to come that hopefully everyone will enjoy. TTYL
My most recent ranking for the Classic series(I can't rank them from 1 to 7 coz to me multiple seasons are of the same level of enjoyment) :
🥇Season 1 ~ 4(the first 4 seasons are always the best no doubt!)
🥈Season 5, 7
🥉Season 6(to me it is the weakest Classic season, to the point I slightly dislike it)
