RYA Powerboat Level 2 Course at Christchurch Sailing Club

Some highlights from my time undertaking the RYA Powerboat Level 2 course at Christchurch Sailing Club during May 2023.
This comprehensive two day course provides the skills and background knowledge needed to drive a powerboat safely; it is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence. The course covers training in collision avoidance, close quarters boat handling, navigation theory, and driving planing craft in coastal waters with an emphasis on improving close quarters boat handling, high speed manoeuvres and man overboard recovery skills.

Great vid, thanks. I did my powerboat level 2 about 20 years ago.
We definitely didn't do a boat tow or man overboard!
But i have done them myself.
Well i dont remember them in the course anyway.

So, you did this in an inland waterway. Is it the same ICC as if you did it at a sea harbour?
