      Wow Antigua looks lovely! I was wondering where you were from, thanks for letting me know. My first follower I know of from the Caribbean I think :)
      Glad the video helped, and thanks for the request.

    Thank you! I rarely write comments but I wanted to show my appreciation for the great videos. I am a Turkish who live in Japan and English contents like yours save me when it is hard to communicate in Japanese sometimes.

      You're welcome Onur, thanks for dropping a comment! I travelled to Japan a few years ago (Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka) - amazing country, and some really nice traditional/modern architecture.

      @@AussieBIMGuru You travelled to the best cities :) It would be great to see you collaborate in a Japanese project someday.

      @@onuresen that could be fun! My favourite architects are also Japanese. Ando, Kuma, Ito, Ban and Takamatsu. They sure know how to make concrete and timber work over there.

    Could you do a video about how to show wall ratings on life safety plans? Our architects are using CAD files linked into the model for those plans. The answer can include using Dynamo if needed. Please and thank you.

      Video queued up for 22nd October. I typically use area plans and filters, but I've included a trick to manage compartment line graphics if there's no Revit elements to filter for.

    Hi Aussie, Is there the way to create electrical devices keynote with the circle shown on keynote list instead just the number? Thank you Aussie!

    • @AussieBIMGuru
      @AussieBIMGuru  Před 3 lety

      I don't believe so, only if it's an actual symbol supported as a character in notepad itself. Keynotes only suppory the 2 fields unfortunately, keynote and description.

    Good video like usual! Do you know a way to filter a room schedule by only rooms include in a specific plan view? Sometime is necessary in a large project with level divide by multiple section.

    • @AussieBIMGuru
      @AussieBIMGuru  Před 4 lety

      Hrm I think the only way would be to introduce filterable parameters that can be set using something like Dynamo in active view.
      That or tag your rooms as keynotes, but that would be a fairly abominable workflow.

    Hi Gavin. Thanks for the video. Many times we have to also add the length and breadth of the rooms. I use shared parameter and manually enter the values. Could you please help with a simpler solution where maybe if we move walls, the dimensions also update accordingly? (The solution would work for simple rectangular rooms only and not other shapes)

      @AussieBIMGuru  Před 3 lety +1

      I have away to do this using Dynamo, but there is no way to have this update live as far as I know.

      In this case select the label (text) item inside the tag family, and turn off the 'Show border' property. It should just be borderless text then.

    Am I the only one who has no sound? Thanks for the video though.

    • @AussieBIMGuru

      Some of my videos have only 1 sound channel so headphone users might not hear it. Try on a PC if possible.
