  • Chennai's 81-year-old architect Hemachandra Rao is perhaps the only man in the country to have visited all lighthouses in India (over 200). It took him three years to achieve the feat, which has also been acknowledged by the government. With hundreds of photographs of the landmarks he clicked, Hemachandra Rao has developed a Martime Heritage Museum at his Chennai home. NDTV caught up with Mr Rao, fondly called the "lighthouse man of India".
